My Rennline airbox also came in this afternoon after Damien at Rennline sorted thru Pelican Part's fiasco. I got a 10% discount on this part along with shipping costs being waived because some idiot working parts could not tell the difference between a carbon fiber airbox and a much smaller GT3 style control arm.

Anyway . . . I now have the right part minus mounting hardware (I will reuse my OE airbox hardware if I need to). The missing hardware is supposed to be overnighted to me so we'll see if they arrive on time.

I'm supposed to get my Porsche back by the end of this week so we'll see but I am looking forward to taking my car back after having all this work, and upgrades, performed

It is safe to say all my cars will now have carbon fiber inside their engine bays

My current Porsche maintenance period is rapidly coming to a close. A lot of work has been put into this car during the past month the car was in the shop getting worked on . . . the summary of work that was done during this maintenance period was a lot but something I have been wanting to get done with my Porsche for quite some time . . .

    - Brembo Type 3 two-piece rotor retrofit
    - Sharkwerks aluminum cooling pipes to pin to the motor
    - Sharkwerks cooling pipe replacement kit for 997.1 turbo
    - b.b.i. GT2 clutch slave cylinder upgrade
    - Sharkwerks Stage 2.5 clutch upgrade
    - engine oil coolers replaced
    - new rear main seal
    - RSS motor mounts
    - CSF Aluminum radiators (all three front radiator replaced)
    - Morimoto Bi-LED XB Headlights
    - Morimoto DRL wired to fusebox
    - PCCM+ infotainment upgrade from Porsche Classic
    - full cooling system overhaul
    - new GUIBO
    - new front passenger CV joint
    - VTG Actuator clean and grease
    - Auto headlight retrofit

    - engine oil/transmission oil/diff oil/transfer case oil/brake fluid flush
    - 7mm/15mm spacers screwed onto rotor seating surfaces

    - GT2RS carbon fiber side vent covers
    - OEM full carbon fiber door sill install

    - Rennline carbon fiber airbox
    - corner balancing and 4-wheel alignment
    - headlight alignment
    - turbo badge painted glossy black
    - Garmin Dash Cam Mini2 installed
    - new Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires (full set)
    - Aero Wing/rear decklid painted GT Silver to match my car
    - car safety inspected and re-registered

As you can see . . . this was quite the list to accomplish and it took about a month for the shop to get all of this completed. Hopefully my car will be completed today and I should be able to get my car sometime tomorrow morning after the car has been satisfactorily road tested and safety inspected. I'm looking forward to taking posession of my "upgraded" ride. It should be a dream to drive now . . . not that it wasn't before!

Project is completed and I got my Porsche back from the shop. They did exceptional work to get my list completed and my car is now ready for it's long road trip to Florida in two weeks. Looking forward to taking this amazing car on this road trip!

Better take some microfiber towels with you to the cars & coffee meets - they'll be drooling on it!

    PCCM+

My Porsche got the upgraded headunit from Porsche Classic. PCCM+

Having CarPlay and touchscreen really adds to the car

For comparison, here's the OE PCM 2.1 head unit my car "had"

I also got my Rennline cell phone charger mount installed so my iPhone will get charged while I am driving.

My car is now ready for it's long distance road trip to my new home

These are a few pictures taken at the completion of my 2024 Porsche project. These pictures show just a fraction of the work that has been put into my car while getting it ready for next week's change of home port so to speak. After next week my Porsche will reside at my new home in Florida where I will be living.

I will be enjoying my road trip in this amazing car!

EDIT: My Porsche has been coded for fixed wing so it is now set for it's upcoming road trip I completed my trip to Florida and my Porsche performed perfectly as expected. What I really enjoyed was how people would move from the left lane as I would come up on them because they could see my 4-point DRLs and the low profile of my Porsche as I approached allowing me to pass them. The car felt so solid and planted throughout the trip and when I got drenched with a severe downpour as I got into Jacksonville, not once did my car hydroplane. I made it to my new home where my Porsche resides inside the garage parked right next to my ZHP.
