Back in October of last year, GeorgeH had this car available for sale:
2005 ZHP sedan / Silbergrau on Alcantara / 123k miles / MT
He offered me the right of first refusal. I thought about it and decided to pull the trigger. The selling points were:
a) Alcantara interior in amazing condition
b) AL headlights
c) Extensive list of recent service
Owners 1-2 were in Maryland. Owners 3-4 were salesmen at the local BMW dealer. GeorgeH was owner 5 and I'm owner 6.
I have documentation for this:
2022
1) Oil filter housing gasket
2) Windshield washer pump
3) Recharged A/C system
4) Replaced battery
2023
1) Inspection 2
2) Filters: air and cabin
3) Fluids: transmission, engine oil, differential, brake, power steering, coolant
4) Wipers
5) Front brake lines
6) Valve cover gasket and spark plugs
7) Replaced battery
8) Recharged A/C system
9) Used AL headlights (this is a big plus, ZKW get burnt bowls)
10) Two new rear tires, two used front tires. All match (Kumho Ecsta)
11) Two window regulators (both rear)
12) Windshield cowl
13) Gas cap
14) Used fuel pump with about 40k miles on it
15) Two power steering hoses
16) Fob key
2024
1) Resprayed both bumpers and trunk
2) Front bumper grille and bracket
3) One window regulator (front passenger)
4) Tie rods, inner and outer both sides
5) Alignment
6) Install front passenger liner extension (P/N 51-71-8-265-468)
I found additional service receipts in the trunk, but I didn't review those yet.
This is my wish list:
1) Refinish 2 wheels
2) Replace radio (knob is stuck)
3) Check into alignment specs
4) Install ZHP knob (P/N 25-11-7-896-886)
5) Check into auto-locking and optical alarm
6) Glue for mirror cap, passenger side
I already added more than 3k (s)miles to the clock. This ZHP runs like a champ.
George is one of the best sellers out there. He even delivered the car to my home!
Cheers,
Fredo
