Car died on me at a fuel station due to low battery (no low battery voltage warning on IC). Had to jump start using another car and keep the cables connected for a good amount so battery could be charged, since the 1.5 year old bosch reman alternator seems to have stopped working.

Happened to me also around year and a half ago outside CVS. Had to wait for AAA for a jumpstart. Made it home and remove battery. Purchased a new Interstate.
Also no warning for low battery. Battery lasted 4 years. And even though I always hook up to a CTEK when not in use. Does constant charging on trickle charge deteriorate the battery?
