I've wanted something like that for ages, and I've seen a few apps do it, but not enough people for it to actually be effective. Are there a lot of people on that one?

Yes it’s a pretty active app and I went with the free one. My first test was for thanksgiving and I did the entire route from Huntsville, AL to Mason, OH (Kings Island area). No issues except killing my phone battery. I also did some video captures along the way. The app ask’d me if I wanted to add them but, I opted out.

My only dislike is the fact that it tells my top speed. I’d rather keep that a secret.

I honestly haven't used it much because its iPhone only and I'm team android for now but I do have it on my iPad and I've messed around with it. There appears to be a good bit of routes available
