Random thought - did the explosive charge blow the battery cable connection thus preventing the engine from starting? I do not need an engine, but just thinking maybe that is part of the no-start issue.

Good thinking - but I doubt it. Positive terminal was still connected when I checked. Also, the sound it made was a "Click" as if the starter motor was attempting to engage, but was prevented from turning the engine over.

The right front is unlikely to be in good condition let alone gettable. The others however, should be in tact although they do have 143k on them as they were original to the car I believe.

Thanks for getting back to me. I'm less concerned about the 143K than I am the condition. Having a full set the same age would be nice. What would your price be on just the rears?
