May be a stupid question, but is it possible to bench code an LCM/LKM? Whether through PASoft or NCS...
Yes, but you'll need an instrument cluster on the bench too. Basically you'd connect power and ground to both modules, connect the OBDII cables K-line to the TXD signal on the instrument cluster, and connect the K-bus of the LCM to the K-bus of the instrument cluster. Then load up PASoft or NCS, and you should be able to talk to both the instrument cluster and the LCM. You can add additional modules by powering them and tapping into the same K-bus signal.

"ZHP is a garbage option anyway- just some cosmetic upgrades with a different cam and diff to claw back some of the performance lost fitting those hideous and heavy wheels. Any 330 with a 3.46 diff will smoke a ZHP every time. The whole Mafia thing reeks of childish behavior." - an e46fanatic
Much appreciated! Thank you.
I purchased a used LCM that I believe came off of a 325i. Would I use the "Copy FA Coding" button to get the IKE and LCM columns to match after installing the new LCM? And then code the VIN and Odometer figures manually to the LCM?
