No it will not read the e90 or e70. They require another scanner. That would be the BMW Scanner 2.1 or 3in1 version. They are upwards of 150 dollars or so for those. However there is a bluetooth OBD2 to connect to your phone and you can read codes using that. The app is called "iViNi BMWhat".
