I know I don't post that often, but I figured this was worth a post....

I sold the ZHP a few weeks ago, but I feel it went to a great new home. The owner is an enthusiast, and I can't imagine the car going to a better home. (He is actually a member here!)

However, I am not BMW-less. Seeing as I was provided a company vehicle (2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee), I was looking for a little bit more of a track toy. I ended up buying a 1995 M3 with low miles(83k(, and a fair amount of well done modifications.

The car has the following...

Bekkers ported and polished Aluminum Head
New Valves, Springs, Head Bolts, Retainers, Etc
Schrick Big Cams
24 LB Injectors
Euro Mass Air Flow Meter
Conforti Cold Air Intake
Conforti Chip
Tri-Flow Cat Back Exhaust
Breyton Vision's
Ground Control Coil Over Kit
Ground Control Caster/Camber Plates
Ground Control Rear Shock Mounts
Rouge Engineering Rear Lower Control Arms
Racing Dynamics Sway Bars
Racing Dynamics Front Strut Bar
BMW X-Braces

And Since I bought it, I have done the following
Bimmerworld SS Brakelines
EVO3 SSK

I will miss the ZHP for sure, but seeing as it was not getting driven it was time to pass it along to someone else who would love it as much as I did! Plus the M3 is really helping fill the void :-)

Here are some pictures from my first Track Day with the M3 ....

Understandable, naturally.

Is that Dove gray interior?

And I just looked at the pics, they are really well done.

That's a great upgrade. Don't be afraid to check in with more updates to the Avus machine!

From a GS3, this was sent.

It is Dove Gray and in excellent condition... I don't have any interior shots handy though....

I will say the headliner needs to be re-done.... and I did stick a ZHP Shift knob in it...

The pictures were taken by a group called Side Line Photography.

Considering that car is close to 20 years old it's in excellent shape. I think headliner issues are pretty common to the E36 as my co-worker has the same problem.

Thanks for the photog reference. I'd like to have some pro shots taken some day and this group has an office up the road in Chi-town, so I might check them out one day soon.

Good luck with your new toy! I had a similar thought to replace the ZHP with an E36 M3.

Ooooh so nice. I love avus blue. When I bought my 95 M3 back in 2004, I was searching hard for an Avus but they were commanding $2k more than any other color and at the time, was out of my price range. I settled for a Cosmos, but I still always wanted an Avus one.

They Are 18 inch Breyton Vision's... I don't think Breyton makes that particular model anymore....

As far as official specs, I am not sure.... I really need to get it put on a Dyno....
