View Full Version : What is my alcantara wheel worth?

Needs a new wrap. Has a hole in the alcantara but the rubber is still perfect underneath.

Also, found a deal for a perf leather wheel in good condition. What are those worth?

Want to buy swap and sell.

The OEM ZHP perforated leather wheel is a more valuable item as they are hard to come by. I would say you should be ready to pay $300 for it in good condition. Keep in mind, that is assuming its a true ZHP wheel, the one with the stitch marks that are horizontal. Otherwise, if its like the newer BMW wheels, then I would expect it to go for less. For the ZHP wheel, honestly, not much as it is something that we all get rewrapped from Coby. Coby's work is top notch, his prices are VERY reasonable, and his wheels give you a myriad of options for colors. That being said, someone buying your alcantara wheel will most likely be rewrapping it. But, Coby will send a wheel first and refund the core charge once you send the original back to him, so folks really don't even need a spare.

I'll give you $20 for the alcantara one...?

I'll sell me alcantara one if I buy this one. It is a horizontal stitch wheel, which actually came from a ZHP. I offered him 150. Not dying to buy it, but if he gives it to me for that, whatevs.

This would probably be easier to sell on E46F or another forum for a guy with a non-sport E46 wanting an upgrade. I'd say 100 without trim.

If you want to "upgrade" to the perforated leather steering wheel some ebay sellers will give you $250-$300 for your core (no trim). If you think your wheel is worth less than that and want the upgrade, it's a no brainer...
