Want to Buy: Bentley Manual for BMW E46

I am desperate for an E46 Bentley manual, but don't want to spend the ridiculous amount of money for one. Does anyone have one for sale, or know of one for sale for less than $50? If you find one local to you and you're willing to ship it (or I could pick up if within 2 or so hours), I'd be glad to cover price + shipping if it still totals less than about that much...

What do you mean?
If you mean to order from them, they're a good $40-50 more than most of the manuals I see. No good.
If you mean web subscription, they only have pre-facelift models covered, AND the highest subscription is only a year. Also no good. I'm keeping the car for a lot longer than that.

This. Plus, it's used and the amount will definitely go up, at which point it defeats the purpose of buying a used book for almost as much as a new one.

This no longer applies, anyway. I would have like one before the weekend, so I ordered one on eBay for $97 shipped. It was the cheapest price I found that was within a reasonable distance. Everywhere else it was over $100 shipped. I gave up on the hope of finding a cheap one when every single thread I saw said "SOLD" in it...

+1. I was skeptical about paying that much too - but I know the quality of the information is great. Then I saw the size of the manual. Its massive - easily twice the size of my e30 bentley manual. Instantly reminded me of a large metro area phone book.
