Official BMW 330 ZHP Sighting Thread

I think I saw a black zhp sedan driving east on the ICC yesterday at a little before noon somewhere between the I-95 and Route 29 exits. I was driving west and only noticed it for a hot second. I believe it had tinted windows, and the factory tail lights (R/Y/R) but I didn't catch any other distinguishing features.

NewJack; I for sure that it was you, but I know you have the LED tails on your ride. I'm not sure who else around our area has a black sedan.

Anyone?

I have a black sedan with stock everything; however, I have never driven on the ICC. So, it wasn't me! On a related note, I may have seen either you or Newjack a few times but always forget to note the time and post here.

05? Silver Coupe was seen many times yesterday on the San Diego BMW Scenic Mountain tour.

But the best part was following a completely blacked out M6 coupe (only color on entire car was the three colors on the M badge on the trunk, the M6 letters were black!) through some twisties outside of Julian. He thought it was an M3 on his tail. Great fun by all. But only two ZHP's out of over 50 cars.

Yesterday I was driving south on the 805 near camp Pendleton and there was this sick ZHP coupe. It was grey, had halo's, it also had led's on the inside of the wheels? Is this anybody on here?

First, a Silver Gray sedan with dark tint on PSU campus, around 2:10pm on University Drive going past the Bryce Jordan Center. It had some kind of special license plate but I couldn't tell what it was from where I was.

Next, I saw the Mystic Blue convertible that I have seen many times, this time on Shiloh Road about 4:45pm. Gave him a wave, not returned.

I wish I had been driving my car at the time but I was on my way to an appointment so I wouldn't have had time to try and follow him for a bit and stop to chat anyway. Saw an Orient Blue ZHP coupe with either tan or natural brown interior stuck in traffic with me on I-95 around the Greenwich area. He was too busy trying to merge into the lane everyone knows not to merge into during rush hour: the left lane. :)

Spotted in my right side mirror coming up from behind next lane over what appeared to be my twin, going south on Aviation Blvd. in Manhattan Beach this morning. Slowed down at the light to let them catch up an take a look. Sure enough, more or less my twin, driven by an attractive 30's-ish female. Looked over to acknowledge the cars and smiled, got a smile/nod back. That was nice because there are so many BMWs they usually don't give you a 2nd look, and maybe an attractive female might think you're trying to hit on her.... so it was nice to see the BMW car nod, a rarity in LA.

Found the same car again on Formula Ave. outside Eurospot when I was delivering the Fahren Affairs with the Roundel Special Edition yesterday. Must be one of the mechanics that works in there.

BTW, if you want a copy of the Roundel Special Edition, you can probably ask for a copy with one of the Club officers and staffs if they are still available. If not, you can request a copy from Roundel. They are not for all hands distribution.

Saw two Silbergrau ZHPs at my BMW CCA chapter meeting last night. Here's one pictured next to my Lucy.

This one belongs to a guy named Wyatt. Didn't get a chance to talk to him though and tell him about the Mafia. He did have shadow "330i" lettering that looked really nice.

The other ZHP belonged to our chapter curator, Michael Mitchell, who I did get a chance to talk to. I told him all about the mafia, so hopefully he'll apply to be a member. He showed us an awesome slide show of his drive home from buying the car in San Diego. He traveled home via Route 66 (he traveled as much of the original route as possible) and saw some amazing sights. Really hope he joins.

Yesterday I saw a black ZHP vert on... I don't remember the road, still new to the area.

Today I saw a red ZHP sedan w/ CSL wheels (they were either gunmetal or really coated in brake dust) coming off I270.

Lot of ZHPs around here. I've seen more in the past couple days than I've seen all year at home.

Saw two Silbergrau ZHPs at my BMW CCA chapter meeting last night. Here's one pictured next to my Lucy.

This one belongs to a guy named Wyatt. Didn't get a chance to talk to him though and tell him about the Mafia. He did have shadow "330i" lettering that looked really nice.

The other ZHP belonged to our chapter curator, Michael Mitchell, who I did get a chance to talk to. I told him all about the mafia, so hopefully he'll apply to be a member. He showed us an awesome slide show of his drive home from buying the car in San Diego. He traveled home via Route 66 (he traveled as much of the original route as possible) and saw some amazing sights. Really hope he joins.

LOL. Back then, it was a sleepy bedroom community, almost not even quite the suburbs. My dad was stationed at Andrews AFB and that's where we lived at the time. Eventually we moved on to base, 6 kids in a 3 bedroom townhouse on base!

Same here, I used to think they were rare as heck bc I never saw any in CT besides BP and one other owner. Now they are popping up more and more. I have seen at least 7 or 8 in the past year with CT tags, even verts. Mostly women driving them though. :(

I have a feeling that maybe they were once garage queens by the initial owner, and are finally being passed onto other people. It used to be an "Oh My God, Another ZHP" when I saw one on the road to "another nice E46 on the road".

I was going through the light where you can turn left to go to the MCDOT and the parking areas, and I saw a TiAg sedan cruisin' by. It was around 6:40 - 7:00 p.m. or so. Went to Tilted Kilt in St. Charles tonight. Tilted Kilt is like a hooters with girls in school girl outfits and expensive beer. Anyway, I was sharking the parking lot and saw an open spot next to an identical Imola Red ZHP. I obviously took the spot next to it. The car looked wonderful. The paint was immaculate compared to mine, which looks a bit warn. The rear tails had the amber removed, and the badge was red and black. Gorgeous. I wish there was more light. I snagged a picture, but I'm kinda drunk and cant computer so well, so I will hopefully follow up with this. Not many IR's around my area. I've seen two or three ever. There is a TiAg cruising around some where, as well.

Stock or modded? There used to be one outside my workplace, probably same guy and I assumed that he went to CSUF on Irvine Campus.
If you go to CSUF too then it might have been yours that I saw a week or two ago on the first floor. Looked 100% stock, facing the entrance to the Nutwood structure.

Jon, no worries on the wheel, it's just sitting there and I have absolutely no plans for it one way or the other as it has a small crack on the inside and I'm not going to repair it for road use.

Saw an Orient Blue ZHP coupe with either tan or natural brown interior stuck in traffic with me on I-95 around the Greenwich area. He was too busy trying to merge into the lane everyone knows not to merge into during rush hour: the left lane. :)

On campus at Penn State today, I saw a black sedan with ZHP wheels (I got irrationally excited, obvi, b/c there is only 1 other ZHP in town that I know of) but something didn't look quite right about it. Then, as it accelerated, it didn't sound quite right either. As the rear came into view, I noticed its badge: 330xi.

Who puts 135 wheels on any car but a ZHP? I mean, they look great, but that's a strange move. Windows were tinted but driver appeared to be middle-aged female.

Ok, so our options are a bit different, but that's a fine looking car! I have black leather, cold weather package, no nav, no back up sensors. I'm not sure what the premium package entails but if it's the nav and back up sensors then I lack it.

I finally did an exterior wash and deep interior cleaning today. It feels good! Know what else feels good, a sunny 65 degree October day! (yes, that's considered nice weather in these parts, at this time of year) Sunroof open, windows down, sunglasses on, Indian Summer!

Got to meet JKO today, he came by my office. We walked out and drooled over each others' cars. He was nice enough to let me borrow his rain-x to sample. Very nice guy, very nice car. A lot of mods, most DIY if I'm not mistaken.

Got to see black gloss grills up close. I like.
