View Full Version : So erm.... My glovebox failed...

My glovebox won't open anymore. Tried the key and still won't open. I googled it and found that the verts have this problem. Apparently there is a locking mechanism that fails. Any vert owners have this problem?

I had no idea a glovebox could "fail".

JahnRando did and I helped him fix it. Problem is that it was about a year ago and I don't remember the trick to getting it off to replace it. I'll text him and see if he took picks or can do a quick DIY

Okay.....damn mobile apps...

Anyway...didn't realize verts had this issue.... guess there are pluses in having coupes and sedans ;)

There's no way that would work.

I guess you'll have to try it on yours and prove me wrong.

For a minute, I thought I was on an E36 forum, though they usually won't stay closed and/or warp.

My old e30 did this and the latch broke off :shifty and what was left was a lever that you can push to the side and get it open.
