Doesn't he just remove the old fabric and re-wrap it? I of course have no clue how the process goes but have never understood why some steering wheels cannot be re-wraped.... Please enlighten me.

He just takes the fabric off and puts new fabric on. As long as there's a core under that alcantara and not just air then he can re-wrap it! :rofl
