Hello All,
I am another one of the lurkers that has decided to join in after a year of stalking. I have been reading E46fanatics for the past year, which has been a learning experience about both BMW and the interesting hydra of a subculture that comes along with it. I have had many different vehicles in my past that stretch across a wide spectrum of individuals and the forums have always been a place of knowledge and entertainment. I look forward to what this party will bring.

I have had 13 different vehicles over the past ~12 years and only about half of them should be mentioned:
http://www.cardomain.com/cars/?key=reck04gb8
2000 Tacoma SR5 TRD: This truck started me with off-roading and were probably some of the more fun times in my life (18-19)
2004 Suzuki GSX600 - Stared my Street Bike Phase in college (19)
1988 4Runner - Project truck I had for a few years that never got finished - sold off when I graduated from Virginia Tech(19-22)
2006 Honda CBR 600RR - My favorite Bike (20-21)
2006 Nissan 350Z - Awesome, Fun car - My Rice Droppings stage - It was clean but as I look back now, little too much CF for my taste (21-23)
2004 Kawasaki Ninja 600R - Finished me off through college (23)
2004 BMW 330Ci ZHP - Good Story below.
My sister lived in Hannau, Germany and worked for BMW. She sold BMW's on the military base and would frequent trips for Frankfurt to pick up orders and drive models back and forth. While over there she ordered herself a 2004 328CiC. I was actually in Germany at the time and went to Frankfurt with her and her husband and his best friend (who had ordered a 2004 TiAG 330Ci w performance package) I was 18 back in 2004 and I remember watching my current car being driven from the back of the dealer and thinking too myself, one day that will be mine.
I had the opportunity to purchase this from her friend March of 2012. I didn't hesitate as it was a single owner(my sisters friend), BMW maintained, and 61k on the odometer. 100% Bone Stock

As of Now, I have kept it pretty much stock and just done a few things here and there mostly trying to fix something:
CDV Delete - Have the Violin Package and did this while trying to solve my squweeky clutch
Installed a Ipod Interface Kit which fried my GPS (long story)
Black Kidneys.
BimmerSoftware - Awesome and Fun Program!
Maintenance - Vanos Rebuild, VCG, Plugs, Thermostat.
I have spent many many hours doing research on what Mods I want to do, but modding while fixing is top priority right now
Shocks Leaking in rear - Coilovers/Maybe Cup Kit
Half Shaft Diff Seal leak - 3.46 Diff (still on the fence, this is my dd 25 miles commute)
GPS - Dynavin/Eonon
Moonroof needs to be adjusted
Interior Trim A Pillars need to be replaced
Shifter is sloppy - UUC Stage 3 SSK w DSSR
Probably going to wrap interior trim as some is getting older and worn/replace armrests/cupholders etc...
That should do it for this years projects and hope you guys enjoy.

Wow, great story and pic of the car! So clean in stock form... Do explain how you friend the OEM GPS with the install of the aux connection... Did you use the OEM connection kit? I'm about to install that in my car, and I'd like to know so I don't fry mine!
Thanks!!

I got the BSW and wish I had gone the AUX BMW route. I cannot prove it was BSW's fault but I have a good feeling it was. I like everything to be clean and not have things wired all over the place. I removed the carpet from the boot and actually mounted the Module to the rack to keep it stable. As I drove around the casing for the module is not held together beside a weak clip. That clip popped off letting the circuit board dangle in the rack. That board dangling must have grounded on something metal in the rack and caused my Navi Screen to start to roll. Rolling for 5 minutes and the buttons on the front where operating hit and miss. Next day, blank screen and no button controls on the front of the unit. Steering Wheel controls are fine and I can control just the radio which it is defaulted on. Stupid Fm transmitter for 7 months now.....
I have done so much research and only found one other person with my issue exactly, but it seems most of these problems can be replaced with a restart of the system with a battery and fuse disconnect. Not me, I have torn everything apart, including taking every piece of electronics out of the boot and having it all disconnected, but I cannot get it to fully reset - always holds my radio stations.
So now I am thinking about other options and Eonon I think is going to be my choice. I would love to go Pioneer but doesn't mesh with the interior. I don't want to pay 900+ for a Dynavin and still have some issues. I have found the Eonon for 430 Shipped and I can work with that. For now, mechanical issues handled first.
If anyone has anymore info please let me know. New Battery is about the only other thing I could do for a reset and I have a feeling it still will not help. I think a connection or capacitor has blown within the unit. Once the Eonon is in, I will be taking the Stock unit apart and seeing if there is any soldering I can do and fix it, keep as back up.

Beautiful car! Interesting that you have orange corners, I don't think I've even seen a ZHP coupe with them.

I will look for him and great school! Where in VA. I moved down here from Chesapeake, VA and went to school in Blacksburg (330 was last in blacksburg)

European delivery - most USA delivered ZHP facelifts here come with clear. I honestly love them and would never change. Amber Corners, side markers reflectors and tails.

There is a really good post on Xoutpost. Com about the NAV system and some of the people over there are really know the system . The same NAV systems are in the e53.
When I get home, I'll post the link if you haven't found it by then...
