Dash rattles, what to check?

There are two places within my dash that rattle over rough terrain... I'm going to tear it apart and have a look soon but was wondering if I could get any pointers to what the usual suspects are. The higher frequency rattle is located approx behind the center console and the louder but lower frequency rattle is coming from behind the glove compartment area.

Sounds like a nightmare to track down. I've not experienced rattles in that area luckily (knock on wood) but im sure someone has had experience tracking them down. Good luck in your search let us know what you discover!

I bookmarked this thread a few years ago for future reference but thankfully I've never needed it yet. Maybe you can find something in there that will help you in your search.
