I kick myself whenever I see an alcantara interior.
Looks brand new! Is the wheel cover to preserve the perforated leather wheel? The leather on it seems to be in pretty good shape...

Thanks!
Yes the cover is for protection, but also adds some nice thickness and comfort.
(I remove it once in a while to condition the leather)

Looks awesome!
@ Dalton - talk to JupiterBMW and you could have an alcantara interior too!

If shipping wasn't so bad from Florida to California I'd have bought his interior long ago.

Yup thought of that too. Saw a set of front seats in the bay but that would just be weird not having the whole set and door cards.

:shifty I heard my name...
Yeah, I know the shipping would be tough... There is always the reunion... If I could figure a way to get it all in my car, I'd be willing to transport it... To the OP, interior looks great!

Nice work Wash. I need to get around to detailing my interior. Honestly need to remove the front seats and clean out the rails and vacuum around them real well. Im a little nervous about removing the seats though with them being power and what not...

I just did it 2 days ago. Easy as pie. Just make sure your seat is positioned evenly over the rails so that the rails on the bottom of the seat aren't sticking out in the front or back, that'll make for an unnecessary hassle taking them out of the car.
You don't need to disconnect your battery (I didn't). Just make sure your keys stay out of the ignition the whole time from before you disconnect your seats till after they're connected and in again.

That area in my car still looks pretty clean, but I agree -need to do them someday, and go all out like you suggested...because you never can truly tell what's going on under there :)
