So over the weekend I went to my friend's autobody shop. He has two different lifts. One is a drive on lift that I am accustom to. The other is a four point lift. The four point lift seemed to be quite a interesting lift when I saw him use it. The reason why I wanted to raise the car was to check the bushings and sub frame of the car again. Everything looked good besides the differential bushing which was cracked. I might want to change it during the reunion. Not really sure at the moment. So the lift is one of the following below.

My review is that it works great to do any suspension work. It does cover the middle of the car and doesn't provide a lot of room that way. It raises to about 5ft tall so it's enough to do a good amount of major repairs if you are in a stool chair otherwise your back would hurt. I forgot to take some photos of how much of the center the lift actually covers. I'll see if my friend can send me a photo of it.

The photos above show that roughly how much it covers. One side we used 2"x4" while the other we didn't. I'm about 5'8" so I had to bend over while observing the underside. He is about 5'6" or so. If I had the money and space I would get myself one of these lifts.
