Hey guys, I have a set of aFe Dynamic Air Scoops for sale. I have a Gruppe on my car now and so I don't need these anymore. They were on the car for 10k-ish miles. Listed for $95 on e46f but family pricing is $85 shipped.

This might be a silly question, but do they work with the BMW Perf Intake or just the stock (or AFE) intake?

Naa....any intake. Does BMW Performance Intake take air in through the "scoop" centerline?

It'll work for any intake. It puts more air through the top grille part into the intake.. or just into the intake area if you have a short ram. It wouldn't do anything for a long tube intake though since the cone isn't in that area.

Not sure. There was research done on E46f and the scoops provided something like 15* intake temp drop at highway speeds. Don't quote me on that though.

nah with a ZHPMafia sticker on it I've seen dyno gains of at least 18hp :thumbsup

I never measured temps before I put my scoops in but with them I am running about 5 to 10 degrees Celsius above ambient at highway speeds.

My Intake Air Temp is consistently 10-11 degrees higher than the outside temp at highway speeds on my UltraGauge.

Sorry I missed this thread. Do I like it? I guess so, its a MOD! I don't check intake temps, but I'm sure it does help, even if just a little. It looks great when painted a different color (like Dane's) but in plain black it looks good too. I installed at the same time as my Dinan intake, so no telling for sure which mod made the difference, most likely a combination of both. But, I was happy.
