First off I'd like to thank Mark for letting me join this great forum! Been lurking for a while and I'm very happy to be able to join it now! now for the fun stuff!

My name is Tomik and I'm in Socal. I previously owned a 01 330ci, got into an accident, then sold it. Drove that car for a long time tho! It was passed down from my brother to me, and now I sold it and got a new car (biggest regret). Now I'm stuck with a 2013 vw CC untill I find myself a ZHP nearby! So yes I'm searching for a ZHP coupe! I'm checking one out this weekend as the other ones I have checked out have all been faulty despite their perfect Carfax. So thanks for letting me join, and here are some pics of my old 330ci! (btw if anyone knows somebody who is selling the same color, silver grey, ZHP coupe PLEASE let me know! I want it soon! lol)

Welcome to the forum! Unfortunately, ZHP's are not new anymore(06 being the newest), and the list of preventative maintenance is quite a bit (as I'm sure you know); your odds of finding one with "zero faults and a clean CarFax" are pretty low. Also know, from someone who only fixes salvage cars, a lot of accidents don't make it to CarFax. Lean on your own expertise (or someone you trust) when buying a car, not what a website tells you, because you may very well still buy a car that has been wrecked and never know.

You may have to settle with a few issues when buying a ZHP, but it is worth it in the end.

Also, you make it sound like a bad thing that you drive a 2013 CC. What's up with that, huh? :p

its a family car and I don't have a family, and don't plan on it for a while!!
And yah, my fathers a general mechanic, so he looks at everything.. there is one currently for sale near me that claims he has a buyer for around 15k that was suppose to be sold already, still up on auto trader and he practically refused to bring it to my fathers shop, or the shop he does his maintenance at for my father just to look underneath it. Best part was he claimed to do oil changed every 4k miles.. which made no sense especially since "someone" told him that's best... So hard to find a decent one!

@Johnrando - I'm near La Crescenta!
@marcus - Thanks again!
@dernp - Thanks!, Awesome build btw! need to ask you questions in the future when I'm building mine up!

Welcome.

And I'm going to ask what everybody's thinking, "Why did you put road cones on your previous 330?".

Buddy of mine played a prank on me and put about 12 of them on. Took this picture when he put 3 on and sent it to me when I was in class. Man was I annoyed -_-

and thanks everyone!

Seriously, that is not funny in the slightest. Anyone who knows anything about me would NEVER even think of doing something like that to my car, for fear of death. Too serious? Nah! :)

Welcome and good luck finding the car you want.

I too am curious about your impressions on the CC. Family car is really all that turns you away? How does it handle, accelerate, brake, turn?
