I plan on sending my car into the body shop for the week tomorrow if they can fit me in, and was wondering what I can use to cover my alcantara wheel? It's prestine and I don't want body shop hands all over it gunking it up.

So, what can I use that wouldn't be a huge annoyance to them?

Why couldn't he slip on a $5 wheel cover from Walmart? It's not like they would take it off.

I thought about saran wrap but I figured that'd be sticky and shit and might make them wanna take it off.. or take it as disrespect of some sort.

Saran wrap sounds good..

Its true though, a mechanic with his dirty greasy ass hand is going to move your car in and out of the shop.. I am sure they can deal with some saran wrap, LOL.

This is a really timely thread for me as my car is going in for warranty work and I was worrying about this.

Yep, cheapo wheel cover.

Get something funny/lame so they scratch their heads, just for kicks.

Agreed, cheap wheel cover with metal spikes sticking out of it. That'll send the message across hopefully. **Touch as little as possible, for your sake!**

Plus a wheel cover is reusable with out having to sit there and wrap the wheel with an ace bandage every time you don't want people touching it.

If you're going to use a wheel cover, the more ridiculous the better.

This was my first thought, I'm sure it won't look pretty but who cares.
