Hey all,

I'm a new ZHP owner!!

My name is Michael, and I live in Florida. I'm a student at the University of Miami working towards a major in Marketing and a double minor in Psychology and Accounting. I hope to work with BMW in the future, but I don't have any set plans as of yet.

I previously owned an 1997 E36 M3 sedan (manual, of course ;)). That car was a blast to drive! However, an upgrade to the E46 was in order. The increased overall refinement, chassis stiffness, and interior quality are the highlights for me. As for looks, it's really a toss-up between the E36 and the E46 :drool.

I'm looking forward to learning and contributing to the forum. I'm pretty familiar with how cars operate mechanically, but I'm definitely not an expert. I don't have the space nor tools to do any major work myself, either (I DIY here and there, but mainly only interior stuff.). Thus, some might say I should not have gotten an E46.... but I'm taking the chance. We'll see how it works out :fingerscrossed.

Anyway, on to the pics :biggrin. Unfortunately, I only have a few of my E46, and I don't have an awesome camera either. These are what I've got, though:

I actually borrowed "I like turtles" from a post on e46f.c. Right in the middle of 2+ pages of "eff u", "no, you go F urself you @#$@##@", and on and on, a totally different user posted "I like turtles", for no reason. It stuck with me as funny. So, when I saw "I like red, I like..." that phrase just came to me. Besides, who DOESN'T like turtles? :)

Not to pick at your car, but my lower mesh-like grill on the front bumper had turned grey like yours, I taped it off and plasti-dipped it and it blackened back up like when it was new...

I'm just going to buy a new unit; I'll replace it during the summer. It's structurally intact, so I'm not toooo worried about it at the minute. I need to put my $$ towards window regulators next. Then some bushings and whatnot.

It does definitely hurt the front end's look though. Not clean...
