Anyone do cooling recently ?

I lost one of the retaining clips on the lower hoses that go to/from the expansion tank at the bottom. :facepalm

Has anyone changed their coolant hoses recently and haven't thrown out the old ones yet ? I only need the clip, and BMW doesn't sell them separately... and the hoses are 30k old so definitely not due for a good while.

Yes, I changed that hose too. Upper, Lower rad and all 3 heater hoses. :thumbup:

So... Alexandre I apparently am getting senile or something. Just checked the garage for you.

The only thing left on my bench is my old expansion tank sans hoses, both rad. hoses and the thermo housing.

I found some clips, only to figure out they are for the radiator hoses, and then the upper most clip on the expansion tank near the bleed screw.

My sincerest apologies for getting your hopes up.

I lost the exact same freaking one. I jerry-rigged the temperature sensor one onto it by bending it :rofl

It's held the whole time so far! If anyone has another extra....that would be great!
