Got the holes drilled......just to take my time....and have them installed with a small 1/4" gap along about a 6" portion on the rear. Both of them are this way....and its just kinda how they fit.....
So....I will probably have to beta-link the top edge....and make it permanent. Its only a bumper...whicj in my book is a replaceable wear surface....kind of like a bushing. Temp pics below. Only positive comments welcome...lol.

I like 'em on there, DW.
Kind of a cool symmetry with the bra.
More importantly, how do you feel about them?

I like em.......I just need to get em installed sat. Thats all. The holes are drilled.....and they aren't going anywhere....but I don't want any gap......and I may end up going black......and going jointless with a lil body filler.

Good plan.

I was gonna say something really mean, but since only positive comments are welcome.... :biggrin
I think it looks great Dane! I also like the symmetry with the bra. And that's just a great sentence no matter how you slice it.
I hope the install goes as planned and you're pleased with the results. I look forward to some good close-up pics.

+1. Do you have up close pics or will you do a thread/DIY after you fill the gaps?

Can you take a profile shot? I want to see how far out they poke, sure I am going to get them or not. I think they might stick out too far for me.

I will take close up pics. I will write a DIY when finished. I will do all the work....in my garage....in true DIY fashion. I will take a good profile shot tomorrow.....
The closest I have for now is below....

I think a black hood, mirrors, and door handles may set it off, maybe too much but I dunno.

I like eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet. I agree with the black hood, mirrors, and door handles, but I do not agree with painting/changing what was painted from the factory.
Looks fine as-is. I can't see the carbon fiber; I'm seeing black, which is why I think it looks awesome. Not a big fan of CF. It looks out of place to me...
BTW, your sig needs a fix. I see an extra IMG tag lurking there. :)

Thanks AZ......
Yup...I think once it is permanently installed and completed...I will color match it. I like it being black down there. Just what I see.....thats all. Black hood, missors and door handles.....Ima have to think on that a bit.
I am sure someone PS saavy could make that happen pretty quickly....

+1 on bringing them in to the imola red. I like them, but i love the molded look of out bumpers. Those being black make them look like and addition to the bottom of the bumper, and not part of the bumper itself. I like the one piece look......

Looks like sometime stole your car and defaced it.
DWmobile just doesn't look right without racks...
