No Stereo Sound/Abnormally Poor Reception

Hey Mafia,

I noticed today the radio only plays stereo sound for about seven seconds and then cuts out to non-stereo mode. The reception is sub par even on stations that are less than ten miles away.

For what it's worth, the battery was just replaced. Cold start has 12V and while running it hovers around 14.1V. No loose connections on the terminals and they are bright and shiny. Is there a loose connection or is my voltage too low?

2004 ZHP sedan with a 6spd and 101,800 on the clock.
