My engine swap is just about finished so it is time to try to sell the old motor. Its a stock zhp engine with about 72k miles on it. It was pulled because it failed a leakdown on two cylinders with a third starting to go. As such the engine will need to be pulled apart and have some work done. I'll have to do a double check with my mechanic to see what other than the shortblock and head is still on the motor.

I think this would make a good project for someone looking to do a swap in an older car or someone who does auto x or tracks and wants a spare block.

I was thinking that something like $1700 would be a fair price. I'm, of course, willing to talk about the price.

A few photos of the engine. http://imgur.com/a/XbKnt#I5cNslt

Edit: Dropping price to 1390 + shipping

Where were you about two months ago. I would have gladly taken it off your hands then.

Sent from my yet to be hacked GS3.

Two months ago I was cursing my need to replace my engine! Blasted timing.

Just to clarify, what exactly is included?

Think it's an M54 engine not M45. Maybe you just switched it?

Dave, its at least going to be the complete short block and the complete head. No headers. I want to say no fly wheel. I'm not certain about intake manifold (but I want to say that is going to be on there too). Water pump should be on and that's probably it.

Haha, dyslexia. I never even noticed.

No problem. Just wanted to be sure since the pics show accessories, trans and so forth.

The photos are direct from my mechanic and I'm doing my best to stay out of his hair. The project has turned from being a 2 week job to a 7 week job because the salvage yard dragged ass on shipping the replacement block. I'll be able to snap updated photos when I pick the car up this weekend (hopefully). I put the FS up so any interested parties can voice their interest.

Just a quick update. The engine is complete: short block, head, exhaust manifold, intake manifold, throttle body, wiring harness. No ecu no accessories.
