Hey guys,

So I need to do a refresh with my alcantara interior seats. Does anyone want to join in with a group buy for alcantara cloth? I'm thinking of ordering the black alcantara cloth and if anyone else need some I can cut up the sections and ship it to you. It's going to cost about 130 per linear yard which is coming from the same supplier as cobywheels. I'm not sure about the quality of the cobywheels re-wrapped steering wheels however it seems like they would be the best people to ask regarding their suppliers. Could anyone confirm how the alcantara cloth is from their supplier?

I'm leather interior myself, but Jon (jupiterbmw) has a whole extra alcantara interior if you are interested. Not sure what he wants to do with it.

Awesome! If it fit e82 I might come challenge you to a thumb war for it.

I'm not looking to replace the seats. Just the upholstery.

Figured that getting smaller cuts of the alcantara would be better than purchasing larger pieces of it.

Where would you be getting it? The alcantara on aftermarket shifter boots fades really fast. You'd want to make sure you're getting high quality stuff...

aka the real Alcantara (tm), not just micro-suede

and (IIRC), it comes in 70+ shades so make sure you get the right one

I'm in, if the price is right. I need to recover rear seat passenger vertical bolster.
