Turns out there was a meet and drive up near us yesterday. Sarah and I went initially just to check out the cars but decided to go for the drive anyway. A couple real solid hours on the twisties of Highway 1 and over Mt. Tam was lots of fun. I haven't driven my 2002 that hard in quite some time, let alone drive it with all the e30 work this summer.
Decent turn out with BMW's of all sizes. Dean from here with his supercharged ZHP rep'd the family. The turn out was something like:
3-2002's,1-e21,1-e30,1-e28 (w/m10),1-ZHP w/supercharge, a few e36, a couple e46 m3s- 1 w turbo=630hp, 1 m roadster, an L6, a lotus Elise, and an Audi r8. There may have been a couple more.
