DO they sell CLEAR ones in AAP/AZ? search on their WBs didn't find it...

I need to get some to put on the SV mirrors and bumper/nose/hood of the car when we drive to Knoxville TN in a week or 2 (6-7 hr drive) to cover it from bugs
Car will be washed and detailed prior to the drive and I want to keep it that way for a bit

...i am TIRED of millions of bugs sticking to the bumper and the side mirrors and hood and it takes forever to get them off, and hate the process...so this time i thought after I get the CURRENT bug [censored] off, perhaps I can keep it that way for a while...

Any tips on getting some clear masking tape online or BM store will be great...

I think the only clear protecting products are the clear bras and ect. I think blue painters tape will look great on the AW. It'll match the roundel. ;)

Fwiw, since this last cold snap, there's not a ton of bugs out this way.

But but but I SAW some pics that somebody posted on a forum - he did use some clear masking tape thing...it was on bimmerfest I think/...
I know - not a ton of bug but on such a drive, it might protect against tar, small stone chips, etc, too....
I do have an (aging) clear bra, but even cleaning that is a chore after a long drive....

Found it : CLEAN RELEASE surface protecting tape !

Incidentally, this gentleman used it on his ZHP, as it was driven from Texas to Illinois; you can see his pics where he used it in this report...and WHY is he not on our forum ? :(: (His was AW Coupe too, Just like mine)
