Hey guys so as those of you who were at Bruce's know, my clutch is starting to go and I am beginning to look around for other options. My clutch isn't terrible yet but is beginning to slip a little bit. So my question is, what are the popular replacement options besides OEM.
I am hard on my clutches, would a clutch like the UUC or southbend be a better option than OEM or are they about the same?
I was looking at this one...

$660 for a clutch?! God damn.
Get OEM. BMW obviously has that clutch in there for a reason.. and AFAIK, your car isn't a 600+hp track car :rofl

OEM unless you want to go LTW Flywheel.
My OEM clutch has survived 2 years of 3k RPM launches from autocross events. I'm sure you'll be fine.

Thanks monkey. May just go oem then since I don't want to do a ltw flywheel .
Nike just because BMW has it in the car from the factory doesn't mean it's the best option available. It's been 10 years since my car was made, lots of time for other options to come out with newer and better technology.

Sure, clutch technology has most likely advanced in the last 10 years, but for higher end clutches. The clutches in our cars aren't really anything special compared to the ones in race cars

I have an OEM clutch and I track. Never had problems.
I use OEM clutch since is cheap, and I used a OEM Supplier new dual mass flywheel from LUK.

here is also a pic of what I ordered for the clutch replacement, not all of it is necessary but double check them. :)
HIGHLY suggest you replace the rear main seals while you are in there.
