Has anyone done so? I like my roofrack but i love how it looks without it. Plus removing it constantly for trackdays is becoming a pain.
Here to hoping someone did it without too much trouble. :fingerscrossed

what if you take the front wheel off?
what if you take the front wheel off?
then it would be hard for him to steer the car ;)

what if you take the front wheel off?
I feel like this is your best bet. Maybe front and rear wheels off?
Also does this mean you might be selling your roof rack?

Front/rear wheel off and it will go right in the trunk.

FWIW, a wheelchair will fit on the trunk without folding seats. Never tried a bike though!

I'll try removing the rear wheel. I know for sure the front wheel removed will not fit. Just thought I ask before I bring out towels cause oily chain + alcantara rear seats = pain to clean. :)
I may sell my rack. I am uncertain. I love/hate the look. lol

I can put my mountain bike in the rear seat since my car has no fold down option. I believe my frame is a 16" since I'm a short one...LOL. I take off both wheels and put them in the trunk and get a heavy moving blanket that I put down on the rear seats and centre console. I usually put old wore socks on the ends of the handle bars, pedals, rear derailer, and front forks. The main places for impact in the car are the side of the doors and the plastic centre console. Once you have that all protected you're good to go!

Keep my in mind. And take pics once you figure out how to make it fit. ;)

I'm actually bringing the bike down to work (50miles from home) and that's not exactly the most ideal riding scenario lol.

Why in the back seat?

It's raining tomorrow and I'm dropping it off at the housing I'm staying at 50miles from here. Don't feel like getting the bike drenched and then rusty.

Ahhh. I thought the trunk would take it. The pedal on the back seat is not ideal.

The trunk wont be able to take it. Yea I was aware the pedal doesn't look to be sitting nicely on the seat. In the event of the actual transport, I will put a towel inbetween.
