You don't park this car on tight street everyday, so you probably do not need to fold them everytime it's closed.
My vote unquestionably goes for auto-dimming features retrofit. I think this is very cool.

You’re right. I don’t street park my cars. I will never street park any of my cars. Not worth the risk of some idiot side swiping the car or some asshat vandalizing it.

I see myself activating autofold when I park my car in the garage just so I can get my ass around the car without touching my side mirrors [emoji38][emoji38][emoji38]

I’m seriously considering doing this mod... perhaps in May/June when temps are in the lower 70’s. It will add another nice touch to my M3 [emoji41][emoji57]

Nice upgrade! [emoji1690]

Those are awesome! Nice werk.

Thanks guys. It comes down to the little things as well such as adding options that were not available to US spec cars... apparently my work is getting noticed by a few in my area because my M3 is getting invited to area meets this year...

How can you not go when one of the event coordinators texts you “You MUST and I mean MUST bring the M3 to the opener May 3rd”

Then he texts this:
“Not the wagon, nor the Porsche. The M3. People need to see your M3. I’ll put you inside VIP parking”

He finishes the invite by texting me this...
“More people need to see the M3! And appreciate the work regardless if they can grasp the insanity of the OEM CSL door panels alone [emoji23]”

So I will be bringing my M3 to the 2020 season opener event in Connecticut. It has been a few years since I have shown my M3 at any car event.

After programming my GM5 module Botond also programmed my FTM and BTM modules and updated my VO for auto fold side mirrors and got my key fob to enable the auto fold feature. This mod is now complete. Thanks for the assist Botond. [emoji2940]

https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200315/0ce266e9525a87a3b6823c70a8f93233.jpg

I also readjusted my passenger LED fog light and when I drove home could see everything was perfect. These Morimoto LED fogs are worth every penny, and for those who did not buy them... consider getting them. [emoji41]

On my way down to Botond's house, a lowered Audi B5 A4 (or debadged S4) sedan rolled up on me, car was looking very nice and looked like it was properly modded and set up. They were checking out my M3 and Botond and I, of course were checking out their modded Audi... it was a pretty nice exchange of appreciation for each other's ride... as they moved forward Botond and I could see the passenger say to his driver "check out that caliper!!" and his mouth dropped as he looked at my front 6-pot calipers... it was amusing to see their reaction to my Brenbo GT BBK... damn my M3 was looking good today... [emoji16]

Yeah, this is all I need to get and I will be able to mount that panel onto my head liner. Thanks to you for listing both the front and rear insulation pieces, all I need to do is order them and I will have everything I need to do the carbon fiber roof panel install. I just need to put aside the money for labor and take the car to my body shop to do the retrofit. I will also replace both the front and rear window when I do this so everything will be fresh when done...it is happening but slowly I'm afraid.

I have upcoming 60k mile Porsche maintenance (looking about $4k) to do and as always there's my Audi maintenance since my Audi is my daily.... so eventually I will have the money put aside and get this done.

EDIT: Hieu, I did take another look at my roof panel and man it still looks as sexy as hell... I know when I do get this project done, it will be one of my favorite mods done to my M3 to date...

Nothing worse than seeing your LCD screen pixelate and getting worse so when I saw Chris' for sale thread and he had this head unit for sale, I jumped on this and I now have a perfect Navi screen display in my M3 again. :)

For my OE head unit, I will source a new LCD screen for it and do the LCD display swap and get that head unit restored. Then I will have my usual "spare parts" set up for my M3. ;)

Holy crap that looks good. Is that literally a wipe on wipe off product? I use a lot of Griots products but I haven’t tried this one.

yes, pretty much... the product states to put this on a clean surface and since my M3 was washed and I have not driven it since washing it, I got some Griot's Garage detailer spray and cleaned off the dust on the surface and then applied this product. It was very easy to apply, just spray on and then use a clean microfiber cloth to wipe the product off and buff dry. That was it. The product instructions tell you to apply the first coat, allow 12 to 24 hrs before applying the second coat and then allow the coat to cure another 12 to 24 hrs before taking the car out. Since I'm not planning to drive the M3 for a few days I figured it would be a great time to apply this product on the car and see how it turns out. So far the results are promising and I'm looking forward to applying this to the rest of the car. :thumbsup

Thanks John[emoji1417]

I have put a lot of work into my M3. Upgrading where I could to build a better ///M car and build it to my vision...

I picked up my passenger headlight assembly that I will be rebuilding to have a 100% perfect headlight assembly. While I was there to pick up the new part, I spent the extra time visiting with a fellow enthusiast and his father and let both of them check out my M3. So far based on their reactions, I’m doing my mods appropriately because my car received appreciative grins this afternoon and the gent who I got the part from had this to say about my car to a group of E46 M3 owners via chat....

https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200611/a79d80af9fc8cd644d03c5009a3e60ba.png

While chatting with Michel and his father I saw my instrument cluster and noticed my gauges pop out so I got a quick picture of them...

I’m one step closer to having everything needed to get my next major mod started on my M3[emoji41]

I need to source the metal frame that this panel secures to on the headliner then I should be ready to do this upgrade.

I will need the front and rear insulation pads then I should be set. Hieu has done this retrofit on his ride so he can chime in and let me know if I’m missing anything...

- I have the carbon roof panel
- euro slicktop headliner
- phone microphone panel
- roof bow
- CSL roof rails

I need the following:
- metal surround to allow the phone panel to clip on
- front and rear insulation pads
- BMW structural glue to bond the roof panel to my car
- new windshield (front and back)

I think that is it. I have a bodyshop already in mind to do this job and I know they will do a good job. I will have to go thru a few threads where people have detailed doing this retrofit. It will be awesome when I finally have this mod complete. [emoji41]

Is this the piece you're talking about?

If so, you can have mines. I'll give you the plastic cover too. The one in your picture looks like it's in worst condition than mines? Or it's just dirty? But mines brand new. I couldn't use it cause I lost it lol

That's pretty much all you need. If you're replacing the windshields, you'll need the rubber seals as well. It's like $40 bucks I think. Your body shop probably knows, but I went ahead and bought it myself because I have worked on a few E46s where the seals were the wrong ones or like they used 2 front/rear ones instead of one of each.

When you put in the amount of money, time and work into your car you will find people starting to follow the work and vision you are putting into your unique ride... this is what I have learned and seen throughout my journey with my 2004 M3. It is nowhere near the best M3 in the country and this is not my intention but for me it is the best M3 for me which is all that truly matters. There will always be someone who will have a better car than me so rather than focusing my energies on making my M3 the absolute best M3, I have focused on following the vision I have for my car and not worrying what anyone has to say regarding my choice of mods or how I have my car set up.

Where I live we have huge area car meets that are enthusiast centric in nature encompassing many different makes/brands of cars. At these meets, I have seen pristine examples all the way down to cars that have been damaged in accidents, yet the owners are enthusiastic about cars. In my experience I have met some very nice people and also some that are not so nice. It is what it is... I enjoy interacting with genuinely nice people and answering their questions to various mods and why I set my car up.

I think one of the most rewarding experiences I have had and continue to have with my M3, although I still consider my car work in progress, is that the event organizers of these huge car meets (Broke East Meet)

https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/50474463092_f821b4a1bc_k.jpg

gave me an invite to bring my M3 to one of their recent event where there were 1200 cars registered. My M3 was given VIP parking and placed in a separate VIP section where there were only 4 cars in this room. I did not submit my car for entry but one of the event sponsors knew of my car and reached out to me and asked me to bring my M3 so others could appreciate the work I have put into this car.

Whether those of you reading this post agree or disagree, that is your choice. All I am saying is that when you put in hard work into your car people will start noticing it and you will receive good feedback. I'm sure Hieu can attest to this as he has put in a lot of hard work into his BMW and the results of his work speak for itself. Anyway, here are a few pictures that were taken at the event by the sponsor who invited my M3...

https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/50474372102_ea5155e738_k.jpg

https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/50474372027_a7d1d8b5b8_k.jpg

https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/50474223031_78b56c8b4b_k.jpg

I had a lot of people not believe that my M3 had 181,400 miles driven on it when they were looking at my car that day. In fact they would not believe me until I showed them my odometer reading. The point of this post is that any of you can build your car up to this level if you desire. I have had my M3 for 12 years now and it is still work in progress.

As Hieu has stated in my project thread, I still have a carbon fiber roof panel to install. Yes Hieu, I still have everything needed to do the install I just need to stop buying more cars and set aside the money and get my carbon fiber roof panel installed.... SMFH. I will eventually get this done and it will happen but I'm in the process of sourcing an OEM CSL airbox for my M3 from a friend of mine and I really want this airbox.

https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20201014/893d9fd0a0c84773bb2a60e5293e1eb8.png

Instead of installing my carbon fiber roof panel, I purchased a 2004 ZHP, pictured above. I have been focusing on getting my ZHP set up for winter driving duties so that I can reduce mileage on my B5 Audi S4 Avant but then there's also my Porsche which demands some time and additional money... so all in good time. There is still much more I want to accomplish with my M3 as well as the other three cars I now have. :drevil

It never stops..... ;)

My M3 has been taking a back seat to everything lately and I have started feeling guilty... the battery on my M3 has not been keeping a good charge and I have had this battery for a long time now (I think about 6 to 7 years now) so I will be sourcing a new battery before taking the car out. I will also need to source a new set of front tires and start scheduling some time to do some maintanence on her... this will require a new GUIBO and centerline bearing swap as well as a valve guide adjustment and some fluid changes.... yes, it is time for another cooling system overhaul so it seems both BMWs will be getting a full cooling system overhaul this Spring....

The battery in the M3 vert I just bought was installed in 2015 by BMW according to the CarFax. I don't know how long the previous owner had it out of storage before I bought it on CarsandBids, but the battery was almost dead when I got it. I threw it on a battery tender for the 200 miles I've was able to drive it, and it's remained on it since I left town 3 weeks ago. 2 of my BMW batteries lasted 11 years miraculously, but just for the peace of mind, I think I'll replace this one mid April when I get back there...

Be interested in what battery you choose to aid in my selection. I know I put a Bosch in my ZHP vert and I've had no issues with it. RealOEM shows the M3 vert as 61212353812, 850CCA. 92AH

Pete, I will research the battery to put in my M3. I don't want to shell out $500 for an OEM battery when I can spend around $200 and have the same type of battery. Only difference is that I don't have to program my M3 for the new battery like you have to when you install the new battery...

edit: from my research this evening I found that Walmart sells the OEM battery for my M3, it's just rebranded. It's the Everstart Maxx-H7. Same manufacturer and battery as OEM, just rebranded and cheaper.

https://www.walmart.com/ip/EverStart-Maxx-Lead-Acid-Automotive-Battery-Group-Size-H7-12-Volt-800-CCA/20531542

It's just $149.76

AGM batteries are the way to go. They are a bit more cost wise in most cases but worth the extra money. They perform better in extreme weather, both Hot and Cold. They are more resistant to damage internally and usually last 2 to 3 times longer. You have to keep them on a charger designed for an AGM if the car isn’t driven frequently. Highly recommend AGM’s.

You need to "register" the new battery to tell the car's electrical system that you replaced it. We went through it with the F30.

I will knock off as much rust using a wire brush then clean off the tray and use Rustoleum paint to recondition the battery tray to reuse for the time being.

I would recommend periodically checking the battery well and look at the battery tray to see if you have any corrosion going on which will lead to the rust you saw in the above pictures. I have been way too complacent and will be taking out the battery in my ZHP to give that area a good once over to make sure there are no corrosion there.

I can say compared to what I started with this morning when I took off the battery tray, it is a night and day difference now...those fasteners are an eyesore since they are rusty. I will be stopping at the dealer on Monday to order 5 new fasteners to secure the battery tray with.

My M3 is getting new front tires mounted this Friday and then I will be driving it along with my ZHP for this summer... ;)

What tires do you fancy?
I've tried out the PS4S and they ride okay, but wanted to see if there were any better summer tires

Short of semi-slicks, PS4s are basically the best summer tires for the road you can get.

I don't aggressively drive my M3 and I don't track it. It is a show car and I have it set up as such. Those of you who have seen my M3 at a reunion meet know the level of detail I put into setting up this car... As for tires, there is no better performance tire than the PS4S tires. I have them on my Porsche. The only problem with them is that the side walls are more square rather than rounded. Since I have my M3 lowered such that the tires are slightly tucked in, I have gone with the Hankook Ventus V12 EVO2 tires because the side walls on these tires are rounded and allow the tire to go into the wheel wells without rubbing.

With the Hankook tires I get about 90% of the performance of the Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires but at half the cost. I have run these Hankook Ventus V12 EVO2 tires in heavy rain and at highway speeds thru the Garden State Parkway in NY without running into any hydroplaning issues. These tires grip very well in wet and dry conditions for the type of driving I do in the M3 so I don't feel the need to spend the extra cash on tires that would force me to change my current setup.

I find it funny in a way that I will be putting on PS4S tires on my ZHP's BBS CH wheels while running Hankook tires on my M3... I tend to drive my ZHP much more aggressively than I do the M3 which I tend to cruise in so I figure the ZHP could use all the help it can get ;)

Thank you for the analysis. I will have to try Hankook Ventus V12 EVO2's for my next set and test it out.
Have you noticed the rounded side walls providing more comfort or is it purely for tucking in without rubbing?

I have no complaints with the ride quality of these Hankook tires. For me it is more the ability of these tires tucking in without rubbing because of how my M3's suspension is set up. As it is, I really love the look and I get noticed every time I take this car out on the highway.

What I appreciate about these tires is that they are 90% of the performance of Pilot Super Sport tires but at half the cost... that is a good thing in my book :cool Yes, I know there are haters of these tires but for regular street driving and highway cruising with occasional spirited driving, these tires are excellent tires, especially for the price. :)

Sometimes unfortunately I have some asswipe who want's to prove his car is faster/better than mine. Personally, I don't give a s*** what the other guy is driving or thinking when he's trying to be "Speed Racer" going by me because I don't need to prove anything where my M3 is concerned...

On the most part though, it is a fellow enthusiast who recognizes how my car is set up and shows appreciation and I will respond in kind with a wave or thumbsup.

Exactly but whenever you find yourself in a spirited driving moment it all pays off... especially when you're right behind cars in twisties keeping up with them when they can clearly out accelerate you in straights. :cool

Why I'm installing PSS-10s with Ground Control camber kit and other performance parts into my ZHP along with Wilwood BBKs.... because I can ;)

I need to get off my ass and get a few more parts so I can go with the full carbon fiber roof panel install.... perhaps I will finally get this done after my next at-sea ride... :drevil

I know when that time comes and I get this roof panel installed on my M3 I will be asking myself why in the hell I waited so long.... Hieu, feel free to give me all kinds of shit once I get the roof panel installed... [emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji1787]

Charlie what are those cylinder pieces of carbon fiber? I cant make out what they are or where they go

they are intake trumpets. On the OEM CSL airbox they are slightly smaller and are made of plastic...

these are supposed to be an "improved" design allowing for more air intake to the cylinders...

The price for an OEM CSL intake, especially for manual cars, have skyrocketed into the stratosphere.... absolutely crazy which is why I'm going all in with Karbonius. I have a friend who installed one into his M3 and the fit and finish was just amazing...

They are the same part Botond....unless there are any internal differences or differences (doubtful), the airbox should be the same between SMG and Manual.

In the picture above you can see the CSL engine bay with the SMG expansion tank clearly visible (yellow circle) and below the Karbonius CSL airbox installed in a 6MT M3. The airbox in either application look the same and people have installed and used the OEM CSL airbox on their 6MT M3s without issues so this is probably a marketing gimmick on ECS Tuning's part...

What do you typically service at the dealer for the M?

I have them do fluid changes as it is more of a convenience for me to have them do this. Alignments and safety inspections are also done there... anything major such as rod bearing maintenance, VANOS maintenance are done using a good indy shop. I have access to a few here. Brakes and suspension work is usually done at my garage...

I put in a lot of time and money into this car more out of my passion for these cars... I have made a lot of nice friends over the years all because of my passion for the E46 platform... one of these friends just sent me a text for me to make a video to put on his YouTube channel... I was taken by this and will be making a video shortly to send to him :)

That's because the OEM CSL door panel does not have the window switch on them so you have a 9' wiring harness routed thru the door into the cabin and routed across the dash to the center console where the switch is relocated... that was fun :)

I got unpleasant news from my dealer today when I was getting my passenger door handle repaired, engine oil changed out and brake fluid completely flushed... it has been something I have been thru with my first BMW and now it has shown it's ugly face on my M3....

I have a good shop lined up, not dealer, to do the repairs and weld in the reinforcement plates so this won't be an issue again... once this is done, I will have my ZHP taken in for the same subframe reinforcement. Looks like I have found the right indy shop to take both of my BMWs to going forward . . . :cool

Sooner or later it happens to all of us fredo. I'm no stranger to this as I had this happen to me with my first BMW. It was only a matter of time before I would see this on my M3. Fortunately for me I have a local shop who have done rear subframe repairs on BMWs many times so to me it makes perfect sense to take my car to them to have repairs made. Once finished I will be planning the same for my ZHP to ensure it won't suffer the same fate as my M3 had suffered...

I would say for cars that are lowered on coilovers, over time they are most likely to experience rear subframe failures as compared to cars that are strictly on stock ride height but that is an opinion that I have not based on any facts . . .

For the E46 it is only a matter of time. I have always been keen to have my rear subframe checked out every time the car is on the lift which makes me wonder whether or not the mechanic has thoroughly checked for cracks in my subframe in the past. The mechanic who found this knew what he was looking for and pointed them out in the video he had sent to me to review. One of the cracks had some rust on it which is why I wonder if my rear subframe on my M3 has been thoroughly checked in the past...

Anyway, I have this issue now and will get it resolved soon. I just hope my panel is not compromised enough by the cracks that it also has to be replaced. Hopefully the damage is limited to cracks that can be welded and then reinforcement plates added to strengthen the area and prevent this from happening again. I figure while the car is getting repaired, I might as well have my AutoSolutions SSK installed while the car is on the lift ;)

Re SSK, nice!

It's the one I purchased from Hieu :cool

Just called the shop where I'm getting the work done and I will be looking at refreshing all the bushings/RTabs, change out the GUIBO and CSB, install my AutoSolutions SSK (upgrading from the BMW Performance SSK currently installed), and refreshing the front perch spring rubbers as my coilovers are making noise when I am steering the car in the parking lot... so lots of work will be getting done and I will be getting pictures while the car is in the shop...all this before my June trip to Florida :)

Drove my M3 to work this morning :) I don't know why people do this but as I am getting off the Newport bridge at 05:30 this morning, some guy aggressively pulls in right behind me NASCAR style. This asshat was so close to my rear that I could not see his headlights and this idiot was not even driving a performance car. I was tempted to brake check this car but while on the bridge I felt it was not worth having this idiot run into my car so I maintained speed and gradually slowed down as I got off the bridge.

I took my ZHP down for a few days so I can tweek the exhaust muffler hangers to get the right height under my carbon fiber diffuser panel. While I have the ZHP offline, I get to enjoy driving my M3 for a few days and allow this amazing machine to stretch it's legs. A nice start to the 2024 car season :)

Driving to work this morning felt great from the performance point of view however, the BMW Performance ssk that is installed in my M3 pales in comparison to the AutoSolutions ssk I have in my ZHP. The want is very strong to have the AutoSolutions ssk that I have in my garage, thanks to Hieu, installed soon. As soon as I am complete with my driveline maintenance (GUIBO/Center Line Bearing replacement), I will be installing my AutoSolutions ssk.

For those who have a manual and have been thinking of which ssk to get, I recommend you contact Ronald Aractingi (owner of AutoSolutions) to discuss how you want to drive your car and he will personally design the right ssk for your use case. That's what Ron did for me :thumbsup

For my M3 I ordered the Titan Shadow lower steering wheel trim, a set of A-Pillar airbag cover strips, and 6 DINAN N-Series Performance Ignition coils to complete my work on the M3 for 2024 season.

Next, once I get back my Porsche from its current maintenance and upgrading period, will be my M3 to have a brand new carbon fiber roof panel installed so no more sun roof for this ride. Pictures will be taken when completed sometime this month. Summer 2024 car season has been a very busy car season for me with three planned long-distance road trips. A lot has been going on here at my end

As timing would have it . . . after having my recent maintenance completed my rear shock mounts failed and I could feel and hear the cues of the shock mounts failing so I put the car back in the shop to have both of them replaced with brand new M3 rear shock mounts. I also found out the bump stops on both shocks had deteriorated to where they too needed replacement so I had my mechanic fabricate them from the OEM shock bump stops to make them work. Also, my passenger door handle broke due to faulty cable inside the door so I had that replaced as well. After all the work, my M3 feels solid once again and I am very pleased with how the car handles and feels so it is now ready for it's long drive to Florida in a few weeks. Looking forward to cruising down in my M3. :cool

Safe travels Charlie

Thanks!!! I'm looking forward to this trip because my household goods will be moved and I will actually be moving into my new home in Florida at this point. What I am calling Phase 2 of my 3-phase move. Once I am home my M3 will occupy my Porsche's spot in the garage when I leave it there and fly back one last time to Rhode Island to complete clean up at my garage and apartment there. Once this is done, I will be free to drive my Porsche home to Florida and for me, this is where the real fun begins since I have done extensive work and upgrades to my Porsche during it's current maintenance period.

I have spent considerable amounts of money in 2024 getting all three cars prepped for this long distance drive and for me this has been money well spent! Once home I can relax and just do regular seasonal oil changes and just enjoy my cars for what they are. Looking forward to this and more once I'm a full-time resident of Florida :)

Plans change and the M3 won't be making the next trip south, I have decided to take my Porsche instead. Once I get my Porsche registered, I will arrange to have my M3 back at the body shop so I can finally have my Champion CSL carbon fiber roof panel installed. I have everything needed for this install so the guy doing the work will stop at my place with a trailer and pick up everything including my M3 and take it to his shop to work on while I am in Florida for two weeks. My M3 should be complete by the time I get back. I can't wait to see how my car will look with a full carbon fiber roof on it against Titan Silver paint. The contrast should look amazing! :cool

Once this is complete I can say all my car projects for the 2024 car season will be complete. I know some of you reading this will probably say "finally!!!" :)

My M3 is getting picked up this Thursday for surgery while I am driving my Porsche south to my new home in Florida.

I will finally be installing my Champion CSL carbon fiber roof panel on this car. When completed my car will look stunning

Once this is finished, doing this will cap off my 2024 car season regarding any more upgrades being done to my cars. This will most likely be the only time massive work and upgrades are getting done to all my cars during the same season . . . but it was so worth it to me to get all this done!

My M3 got picked up this morning to have a few things done to it while I am moving my stuff to Florida next week. I will be away for a few weeks so I figure this is a great time to get a few more things done to my dream BMW . . .

- Full CSL carbon fiber roof panel install
- Two good coats of UV clear on the roof panel to protect the carbon fiber finish
- replace front carbon fiber lip
- fix the rear CSL diffuser panel
- Paint correction detail/ceramic coat including wheels
- new front windshield

Once this is done, my M3 will be ready for it's trip to Florida[emoji41]

This part of my M3 project has been something I have been wanting to do for a very long time (about 8 years now). Well it is finally getting done!

I will also be replacing my front carbon fiber lip as well. After my new roof has been installed and given two coats of UV clear, both windows will be installed, the interior put back together, then my car will be getting a paint correction detail and finished off with a full ceramic coating.

This will complete my 2024 car project for all my cars. I'm sure you guys will say about time with all my work. A lot has changed and getting all my cars set up has become my number one priority when I decided I will be moving to Florida. I have met my personal goals and have spared no expense in getting all three cars prepped for their individual road trips south with each being enjoyed for what they are[emoji57]

Fredo, I’m afraid 2025 car season will be very chill from my garage as my focus and priority will be getting my new home set up

At least, going forward what I will be doing is detailing all my rides, one at a time. QuickJack will come in handy while detailing out each wheel well on my M3 and Porsche

I will be handing the maintenance/mod torch to the next guy to take over . . .

I’m doing this right as usual. I can’t believe I have waited 8 years to finally install this. I’m surprised Hieu has not come here to give me a hard time for waiting this long to do this update to my M3 project . . .

There’s such thing as too much carbon fiber but this doesn’t fall under that.

Always loved the addition of these on M3 projects, very cool piece

My carbon fiber roof panel has been refinished with two fresh coats of UV clear, wet sanded between coats then polished to a nice clear shine then bonded to my car. 😎

My M3 should be ready for me by this Friday😏 The sharkfin antenna that used to be on my M3 won't be used since BMW Assist no longer supports the E46 chassis going forward. I don't see any need to reinstall this antenna so it is getting deleted in favor of keeping my roof panel clean.

My Challenge carbon fiber roof panel has been bonded to my M3 and set so tomorrow the front and rear glass will be installed next. The euro headliner and CSL roof insulation pads has been installed so not much left to do on my current project.https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/53986418054_134c15a497_k.jpg

Here’s a shot showing my new euro headliner installed. It has been a long time coming for my M3 to get this roof panel installed but it is better late than never. It’s getting done Hieu!

Back in May when I decided to move, I was not sure I could make my move happen before Autumn and it has worked out where I will be making my drive south to Florida by this upcoming weekend. I'm looking forward to warmer temps and discovering the car culture there. I am already connected with a good BMW shop in Daytona Beach which is not too far from where I am living.

Yes, I have my tow hook cover to reinstall once I leave Rhode Island for good. I have one stop in Connecticut to drop off a grinder Botond left behind. I will make the change there before departing for Shady Side, MD where I will be visiting with my friend Brett. Best part about this trip is there are no time constraints so I can take my time driving back to my new home. This trip will be all about having fun. I will be stopping at the BMW Performance Center so I can get a few pictures of my M3 there . . . just because.

I'm closing this chapter with my M3 to add to my new chapter opened by my ZHP and I have more upgrades planned for this wonderful car. I'm not done having this car set up the way I really want it set up. There will be many more upgrades planned in the future once I have settled into my new place. :cool

EDIT: Elvis has left New England ! ! !
