View Full Version : Not Receiving Password Reset Request

As the title mentions, I did a password reset request and I haven't received an email for it yet. I did the request 6+ hours ago. Nothing in my inbox or spam folder. Not sure if it matters or not, but I use Gmail. Any help would be greatly appreciated! :thumbsup

Have narrowed down the issue as something related to SMTP. Server host now looking into it.

Hopefully that did the trick. From host:

I believe the issue is that your zone file lacked an A record for your server hostname. I've added it and this should resolve this for you. It will take some time for DNS to propagate though and take effect, between 3-6 hours.

Hey Marcus or Dane,
I still do not get Notifications at all. Using Gmail currently. Any ideas why?

Gary, give it 24 hours. The DNS needs to propagate. The host said up to 6 hours. It's been my experience that it's more like 24 hours.

Ok cool. I did check my settings in the Tapatalk app for notifications. I belong to 3 forums but only one shows up. Strange.

The mail server is now fixed. Everyone should be getting email notifications again.
