Not my week - my ZHP totalled Monday. Daughter just called and her rear window on her 2006 BMW 325i sedan just fell off the track into the door. I am 8+ hours away north of Atlanta. Daughter just started college in Orlando area.

Will someone from the ZHP team who lives in the Orlando area give me the name of an independent shop or dealer that I can trust to help my daughter with her BMW issue?

Thanks in advance.

Shit....efff that. Someone should be able to fix for her. We got some good guys down there....nothing a 2hr diy won't solve.

Dealer = $300

Mafia Member = $100 for new regulator.

Win.

Ranger, there are a few talented Mafia members down in the Tampa/St. Pete area that could probably help, though that is about an hour and a half away. Likewise I have a good friend (& M3 owner) down in St. Pete who uses an independent shop in Tampa. I can track down the name of the shop if needed. Best to PM me for fastest response.

Ranger,

Sorry to say I am booked all weekend.

But have her call Pierre.

(321) 610-3921

He is over on the coast so an hour drive max. But he is the only guy I would trust my car with.

He is a bmw and mini specialist and a real good guy. I will be with him tomorrow and can put your daughter in touch with him if you would like.

He get 20% off most oem parts too.

+1 I have met Pierre and he seems like a really great guy. Definitely an enthusiast as well as a great BMW indy shop owner...

I would honestly make the drive to go help, but I just simply don't have the time right now either. If she's willing to drive down here, something could probably be arranged though. Here's to better luck in the next few weeks for your family ranger!

I would've posted the name yesterday, but I had to check with my friend on the shop name. Cars & Concepts in Tampa, FL comes highly recommended by a long-time E36 M3 owner in the area. I have not used them myself, but he tells me that their service is top-drawer.

Thanks all - sent notes to my daughter. She keeps telling me she is a "grown woman" - here is a chance to be a big girl!

Update - several Mafia members reached out with advice - thanks all! I sent her a lit of independent shops from the Bimmer forum and she found one that had the part in stock and close to her home! She was fixed and back on road in a couple of hours.
