Kinda hard to tell from the crappy cell photo. Everything else looks like a ZHP except the side markers. Did they make the ZHP in 2002?

its a pre facelift 330Ci with ZHP items but they didn't make a coupe ZHP until 2004

VIP is one of those new 'culture' terms for a certain style of modding a car. Although, his E46 doesn't really fit that. VIP typically refers to big body sedans, sitting really low on really big chrome rims. I have a feeling he was trying to appeal to that type of audience.

Here's an example of a typical VIP car.... For the record, I think this style is retarded...

My favorite quote from the above link....

"Essientially, a VIP’d car is the opposite of what a Very Important Person would like to be seen in".

VIP has more to do with insane amounts of negative camber on all four corners than the body or the rim choice.

I think it just looks broken. Why risk your life for a car fad?

I have a friend that is into this style, and although it's not my thing I highly respect it and the work into. With that said, his car is a show car only and he isn't risking any lives.

I respect all forms of car modding, I just love cars in general. From low riders to massive jacked up trucks. It's all beauty if it's got wheels and goes vroom.

Yeah I agree. I mean, sure we all think all sorts of modding are cool, but at some point, it just gets silly. For instance, the guys that 'stretch' tires just because...

Why? I don't see the point, or the style in it... Anyway, the white ci in the OP is very nice. Albeit, not VIP style, but very nice.
