I've come across one for sale locally... I did some Googling and it does mention some stuff about this intake for the E46... Does this fit on our cars?
Is $100 for one in decent shape worth it? I'm considering... :shifty

I've heard they don't fit well on cars with Xenon's but at that price I'd at least go look at it!

Buy it!!! Doesn't even matter. If it's the real deal you can sell that for a few hundred bucks more on e46f or ebay, or send it to SNA77 for what you pay plus maybe a finders fee of sorts.

Does it matter if it was from a 325i or 330i? I believe they had one for both...

Yeah the MAF diameter is .6 inches larger on the 330.
2.9in for 323/325/328
3.5in for 330

Still waiting for a response from the kid... I asked him what kind of car it came off of, he said he had it on his Integra Type-R... Oh geezus...
I asked him to get me a part number, so we will see.

For future reference, the Dinan long tube intake won't fit our ZKW HID equipped cars because of the ballast that cannot be relocated.. as well as the part of the headlight above the ballast that the ballast screws in to

Correct. The ballast can be unscrewed from the light and mounted using the same studs/mounts that your old airbox used.
Like so: (OP there even gives you the part number for the ballast cover so your engine bay looks clean like pic #1 rather than rigged like pic #2)
