I can definitely look into booking a group rate plan if necessary. I recently did this when we booked 3 room blocks at various hotels (3 different price ranges) for our wedding last year... Its not a very difficult process, and they are usually willing to work something out, provided that we guarantee a certain number of reservations...

We won't be getting that cloth/alcantara (at least I'd be shocked if we did - it's perpetually available elsewhere and not here). As far as the #s go, it's an N55 with the same output as the one you can get now + the BMW Power Performance Kit, just a bit down on the torque.

The headlights kill me; where they came from, I'll never know or understand. Anyway, this is all OT I suppose. Justin, you can't drive the M135i because the car isn't coming to America AND because I'd never buy one!

Funny that you mention that. I have heard rumor....that the north bordering "Stonehouse" housing developement will eventually come all the way...through that field to Croaker. We shall see. I like the view and privacy now though.

I assume if BMW tech's had to replace the upholstery in the wifes E90, expect to do the same for yours. Why not just do the bypass? I did it on my zhp shortly before selling. The bypass trick is approx $8 and simply tricks the computer into thinking the occupancy sensor is occupied. Only downside, is passenger airbag will go off during a collision even if there is no one in the seat.

And wolf, Charlie and I will be taking our M's down, we will be stopping for gas once or twice on the way down though haha.

You need to do a bypass until you get that fixed. With your airbag light on, your airbags wont deploy. Also, repetitive sensor failure reports to the central airbag module will cause it to fail, and you'll have to fix that too. (Ask me how I know! :facepalm)

This video looks complicated, but it's not bad. You can handle it.

Also, with vehicle upholstery there's special tools to remove the staples and nails. Not sure what our seats look like, or what these hoops that Dane mentions look like, so you may want to research that too. EDIT: Nevermind, they're called hogrings, which you have on your list. So you've already done your homework!

After reading a few threads of people who have taken apart their seats, it took them many many hours to do it since it is not well-documented. I need to be able to get back that evening. I'm going to revise my project:

- Both rear wheel bearings w/ OEM bearings

Zell earlier this month on this thread I mentioned the doing occupancy sensor bypass, you considering doing that? I did it for my zhp right before I sold it to get rid of the airbag light in order to sell to the new buyer. Only downside, which I made the new owner aware of, is that by doing the bypass the passenger airbag will always go off regardless of whether there is a person in the seat or not during an accident. It is a $10 workaround without having to rip apart your seat.

From what I've seen the past two Reunions, the wives/girlfriends weren't bored. There's plenty of things that are talked about, not just cars. This Reunion is less about the cars as it is about the people. We can talk about cars all we want online, but if we're going to do a mass migration to VA to meet each other, that is a people-meet, not a car meet. :thumbsup

Mrs. Kayger was hesitant on going last year for the same reason.

The only reason she went was because she wanted to meet the Boss, DW, and all of the people I was always talking about.

Well that and I told her that Kyle's bread was worth WALKING to Williamsburg for...

Anywho, she ended up having a really good time and having to hear I-told-you-so from yours truly the whole drive home.

She will be back every year from here on out.
