I'm going to keep it cheap since I will just have graduated and will be low on money. Plus, I need to be sure I can drive back, and all of these I can still drive back if I screw up (sans throttle body and ICV):

Here's what I am going to do:

- Intake boots + F-connector: $45
- Clean throttle body: $0
- Clean ICV: $0
- G.A.S. DISA kit: $80
- Seafoam Deep Creep: $11

If anyone has any Deep Creep they'd like to bring and let me borrow, that would be great!

Total cost should be $136 + shipping, which I'll be generous and say $25. So, $161-ish. I'll set that money aside right now.

It's not your car it's the LCM. Find a newer LCM with an SW value of 3.0 or up. Usually go for $40-80 on ebay.

Dane, Ry posted earlier if anyone knew how to code her LCM for xenons so that's where the LCM talk came from :thumbsup

However, if you are able to get an LCM with s/w vers 4.0 or 4.5 then you can also code it to do one touch triple blink. I have had both of my BMWs reprogrammed with this feature :)

Rob, when you pull the LCM out look for the label

On the label you will see hardware version and software version. Its the software version you're looking for (4.0 or 4.5) :thumbsup

Marcus, My in-laws have a place at Lake Toxaway, NC in the mountains SW of Ashville. It's at 3000 ft elevation so the leaves tend to turn a little earlier, the summer home isn't insulated so they spend Ocober there and then shut it down when it gets too cold. Amazing foliage, a "OnGolden Pond" type of setting. If you're going to be around in that timeframe, I can find out if they'll be there and it's a 4 bedroom house so I know they wouldn't mind having company. Even have an extra vehicle sitting there so you could make daily excursions to get your shots.

Greetings DW/Family: just reading this thread and realized that we should probably have a spot for number of vehicles you plan to bring, if that number is more then one. This would give us an idea of how many cars we need to park on Dane's roof, etc. ;)

If there is a possibly of you bringing more then one car, I would think that estimating the highest number would be best.

Greetings DW/Family: just reading this thread and realized that we should probably have a spot for number of vehicles you plan to bring, if that number is more then one. This would give us an idea of how many cars we need to park on Dane's roof, etc. ;)

If there is a possibly of you bringing more then one car, I would think that estimating the highest number would be best.

Oh not long at all, I clean my engine by just by wiping it down in about 5 minutes. Just bring some plastic baggies to cover the alternator, snag some engine degreaser, and we can have it all done in 15 minutes tops. Then if you need a second go at it, I'm sure it'll be free to use by then.

Hmmm, just revisited this thread, mainly the first page to take another look at the weekend's schedule... Given my drive to make it to the reunion, I'm planning on driving through the night on Thursday... That being said, I will take Friday morning to get settled into a hotel room and probably catch a nap...

Dane, would it be cool for me to officially 'arrive' at your place a little earlier than 1700 on Friday? I can help prep, setup, run last minute errands, whatever is needed...

If worse comes to worse, DW has suggested parking overflow down the street at the library. What we need to be worried about is weather - we DO NOT need any rain on Thursday or Friday, that's for sure!

Also, some of you guys forget what I do for fun as a part-time occupation. I am used to stuffing too many cars into too small of an area. At least the Wilson Family Residence is not moving in the process. :biggrin

It is always fun loading, because I am literally going full power into the dock to be sure that the ramp and boat don't part with the weight of the box truck loading and unloading. This in addition to being tied to the dock as well. If I park them wrong, I cannot see the far side of the boat. This makes the river crossing and docking even more interesting then it usually is!

In other reunion parking news, Jon (JupiterBMW) is currently working on engineering a device so that we can launch cars over Dane's house and park them on the rear hill. :ninja
