Heather and I took ownership of our ZHP in Sept 2011, after the demise of our heavily modded E36 that we called "Lil Red".

As we were looking for the replacement for Lil Red, we decided that we wanted to have a sedan, as the kids are getting older and it would afford us more room. Heather was insistent about getting another BMW. And so the search for a ZHP began. After some time, we found a black 04 ZHP in Morehead City, NC that we were going to buy. I finally got the PO to send me the VIN (on the morning that we were to drive down) and found out that the car had a salvage title. We dropped that like 'hot potato', and Heather luckily found our current 03 IR ZHP in Charlottesville, VA. We called ... made a verbal offer ... and began our 4.5hr drive to pick it up. Here are several pics right after we signed the papers.

The ZHP at time of purchase:
2003 BMW 330i ZHP
6-Speed Manual Transmission
Imola Red with Alcantara Interior
ZKW Bi-Xenon Headlights (slightly burnt bowls)
Silver Cube Trim
ASA GT1 wheels (staggered set F=18x8 / R=18x9)
107,494 miles
I was the lucky one that got to drive it home to NC. Little did I know at the time that I would only be able to drive it on weekends after this .... :facepalm. This is Heather's daily driver, which only makes sense seeing that I work from home. And our 04 Ford Expedition is not the most economical on gas.
I took the ZHP to the indy shop that I work with (on weekends) to have it looked over. The list of issues ....
Left Front Wheel bearing (replaced)
Driver front window regulator (replaced)
Windshield Washer Pump (replaced)
Cooling System Overhaul (no issues but done as proactive measure)
'half dollar' size tear in the Driver's bolster (Heather repaired that herself :respect)
In the last 8 months ....
2 Oil changes
Diff Fluid changed
Tranny Fluid changed
PlastiDip'd the Kidney Grills
Replaced VCG / Vanos Seals / Spark Plugs
Had 35% window tint installed
Installed the Aux Input
Added the Bimmian 'Mobile' mount
Installed Umnitza Orion V2 Angel Eyes
AFE Intake
Installed additional power sockets .. http://www.zhpmafia.com/forums/showthread.php?7211-DIY-Additional-12V-Power-sockets-and-USB-charging..
By far the largest undertaking was the detailing done prior to SIGfest ....

Current mileage = 126K
Future Mods ....
