My C/F wrapped rear trunk lip finally came back from Nacho, and it's beautifully done. Props to him for the redo. (Seems like I bought it over a year ago). So, could someone post a pic of their OEM lip so I know exactly where to mount mine? Also, any tips on a way to keep it from being stolen? Double sided tape is not much of an anti-theft method, and lately I've been hearing about splitters and trunk lips being stolen.

I'm looking forward to pics. It wouldn't fit the overall look of my car right now, but that doesn't mean it won't in the future.

I dunno if you've mounted one of these before, but if you haven't, make sure you wet the doubled-sided tape down with windex first. I think that's what I did on the xi... can someone confirm that?

Protection? Trunk Monkey.

On a serious note, I can not wait to see this mounted. Feels like I've been waiting a year! :)

Ryan K., thanks so much for those detailed pics. Definitely waiting confirmation on windex-ing the tape. John

@other Ryan, lol. Love the trunk monkey. And yes, it's been a LONG time.

I think this (http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/showthread.php?t=426766) is the thread I read before installing mine - I looked in my notes and I did use windex! It'll slide around nicely before being permanent in about 10 mins or so.
