Yup. And for upgrade, get the G.A.S. one.

So the plastic pin from the DISA is gone, the kit comes with a new one right?

Pin gets replaced with a rod.
As long as the pin did not get eaten by the engine.

Okay good. And no the pin was not swallowed by the engine.

So I decided to tackle the DISA today. I recieved the G.A.S. Repair Kit. I'll be honest, I was nervous to do this because it seemed intimidating (I'm not used to repair kits lol). But the install went great and it was very easy to do using the G.A.S. DIY instructions. Car sounds so much better now. Haven't driven it yet (I want the threadlock to dry some), but I expect the car will feel much better and won't feel like its bogging down anymore. Definitely advise people to use this kit. :cheers

Awesome! I was a bit intimidated to do the rebuild as well but the instructions and pictures were crystal clear which made the job really easy. Enjoy.

How long did it take "start to finish"?

Well I did the GAS kit back when I was getting lean codes. Had a little bit of difficulty following the directions and getting everything installed properly. When I eventually put the GAS DISA in, the codes didn't go away so I figured it was the CCV system. Got the CCV system replaced, which was indeed cracked, and the car wouldn't run and with what sounded like a massive vacuum leak. Replaced the DISA and everything was back to normal. Not sure if I messed something up during the install or if the DISA was already gooched beforehand, but the GAS kit was wasted. Im keeping the old DISA to eventually harvest GAS parts.

That's odd. I thought the instructions were pretty straight forward and it took me maybe an hour with taking my time. My DISA wasn't nuked yet, but it wasn't getting a solid vacuum so I was glad to have done it.

Very odd. Indy was saying something about having 2 separate vacuum leaks simultaneously causes the leaks to cancel each other out, which is why when we replaced the CCV, a leak became apparent in the DISA. Didn't make sense to me conceptually but what do I know...

Replaced mine with the GAS Gold Valve... I couldn't rebuild it because the valve itself was still in perfect condition, and the diaphragm still held a vacuum (which the GAS kit won't fix), but the solenoid was burned out (which the GAS kit also won't fix).
I went to my mechanic's to do it, just in case something went wrong like the pin falling out into the chamber (he has the tools to get that out), and it took all of 15 minutes to change.
