I'm not sure what it's called. It was glued by the previous owner. Should I re glue it or replace it? Not sure what it is called so I dont know how to find it. Both sides and the whole thing from top to bottom needs to be replaced.
Take a look.

You gotta be shit'n me..
Maybe thats why the PO glued it. Looks like I am going to need to dig out all the old glue and re glue it.
So ridiculous. It's such an eye sore too.

My friend had the same glue marks. I think it comes from Factory like that. Its expensive for stupid reason. The lady at the dealer said its updated and improved. xD

You're talking about that velvety seal, correct?
The reason it is so expensive is because those seals are made from the fur of a Honey Badger.
Very hard to catch.
And....he doesn't give a sheet.

For that price, I'll fly to Africa, buy a safari hat and a Blunderbuss, hunt the dam thing, and skin it myself.

I tried gluing it and it failed. The heat of LV did it in. I fixed it six years ago with a Strider AR and a trash bag. No more handing trim.

Tell me about it. LV heat is brutal on just about everything especially BMW rubber. [emoji51]

Well, take the good with the bad. Despite the sun and heat, I never had to put snow tires on my cars while I lived there...

Its really easy my friend, i had a same issue my old 325 and my friend has shoe repair dont say "shoe repair" :) ok if you can find this glue it will work %100 for long term ;)
Use this glue for both sides and wait for 15-30min before you stick together then you will need paper tape then after that you just wait for up to 12 hours when you remove tapes then "oooo that actually worked" you'll say ;)
good luck my friend.
