Flying into San Diego tomorrow 5/12 at 9:30AM to do a visual on an e30. Anybody interested in joining me to give an opinion/support?

Lawrence (das boots) would be the person to take with you. He has an AW E30 M3 and his sons have E30's too. Let him know if you end up making it down

The car is clean though disclosure of overheating problem at 11th hour meant abort.
Would love to get some local assistance on this. If nothing else a reference to local shop I can arrange to get PPI. I think he said he's central San Diego.
Thank you!

I would get a compression test done and whatever else to check if the head is warped, even if it is you should be able to pick one up for couple hundred $. Waterpump or bad radiator is probably the problem and both are easy to fix and fairly cheap to diy. Clean rust free e30's are getting harder and harder to find, id do it for the right price.

Thanks John!!
I live 500 miles away from this car so I need a reference to a reputable shop in San Diego to perform these tasks.
