Brand new, never used in any way, shape, or form. Bought the wrong VR for my alternator and tho I have a Bosch 120, the electrical connector doesn't fit.

Bosch part # FOOMA45236
NOTE 1: fits the vast majority of 120-amp Bosch alternators used in the E46. Verify that you have a rectangular plug. My plug is oval, thus the fitment issue.
NOTE 2: if your alternator has the Bosch p/n 0124515105 on the plastic VR cover on the rear of the alt., then this is NOT the VR for you. Nor for me, unfortunately. You can see that number with a mirror and a flashlight. It is on the bottom of the white sticker, just above the BMW logo.
If you have this "alternative" alternator, contact me for correct Bosch VR info. You won't find anything on realoem, etc., and it's a real pain tracking down the info. Turns out that alt was associated mostly with the Z4 but was used in various E46 built in 2003.
