A not so special guy

Hi my name is Todd. Thank you for allowing me to join this great group.

The stars finally aligned for me and I picked up a 2006 330Ci (ZHP) this past March. What a truly wonderful piece of machinery.

I won't be doing to many mod's that aren't required, truly hope to just keep her clean and tight. Other than maintenance, probably get a car cover, some cocoa mats, and perhaps some Wet Okole's for the front seats. Need to do something to plug the toys into that Business CD. Like the idea of the BSW mediabridge, though not sold on it yet. Aux cable for 50.00 sounds good to, though I won't be drilling any holes.

Already have holes in my front bumper. Got hit by something on the freeway thrown out of another's car, so have a wound already, and I've tapped my nose. Now that those are out of the way, I am left to really enjoy the car and try to make it up to her.

Also, I really enjoy the photography from the members here. I have only recently began exploring photography as a hobby, and automobiles seem like a great medium to cut my teeth on. Hope some of you don't mind me attempting to copy your styles while I learn how it all works together. I have an entry level DSLR with a couple lenses and would love to learn how to make a good shot become great.

Finally, there seems to be a recent run on new NorCal members. I too am in Northern California, residing here in Marin. Love to hear if there is a meet up this way. If I can learn how to use a camera well, I should be able to provide some decent shots of some great (and interesting) cars.

That being said, I don't have any great pic of my ZHP yet, though I do have a pic of my garage.

Brings back a lot of great memories of my Colorado '72 2002. Seems like all the pics I see these days are Inka 2002s. Colorado looks much better IMO. Was Colorado a more rare color?

There are a number of Colorado 2002's here in the SF Bay Area, certainly not as many as there are Inka. I am sure the interwebs have some numbers somewhere on production run by color. I like both oranges. Who would have thunk two oranges from the same manufacturer.

Wallpaper - wow. Thank Casey, Marcus, the rest of la familia, and our BMW's for the inspiration to do something more than just snap pictures with the camera I own. While I am no photographer, I have a whole new appreciation and desire to learn the art of capturing light. I am happy that out of the myriad shots over an hour or so I took, one came out that someone else enjoys.

This is the 4th or 5th car I've had these in. They are of incredibly high quality, fit perfectly, have VERY heavy, nibbed rubber backing that keeps them in place with ZERO movement, and just "look right" in a BMW. My highest recommendation. Don't settle for imitations, buy from cocomats.com. These guys are the shiznit!
