I had heard that Bimmer magazine tested the ZHP back in 2003 and ordered the back issue. You will need to download the PDF to view.

Bimmer Magazine ZHP Review (http://pdfcast.org/pdf/2003-330i-zhp-bimme-magazine-review)

The password is familia

I have the Roundel article in poor resolution I found somewhere that I can upload tomorrow. Anyone else have any others to share that we may not have seen?

Here's the Roundel:

I'm a total geek for this kind of stuff. With every car I own, I always try to find all the contemporary reviews, literature, etc about the car. Here is what I have found for our cars so far. I don't know how to make them into a PDF unfortunately though :(

Hope people have more stuff!

There is also an free adobe converter that converts things to PDFs... guessing you can get it at download.com (run by cnet.com).

sweet. Thanks. I will check those out!

In case anyone is interested, there is a PDF brochure for the 2005 3 series that includes a nifty section on the ZHP. I downloaded it from the BMW owners circle website. Might be other years on there too.

I might have that but could you provide the link if handy? Just did a quick search and didn't see it. I'll look some more.

looks like you have to join (which I did) and sign in to get to it. Once I signed up and told them what car I had it presented a bunch of different PDFs for the 2005 (brochure, manuals, etc)

I can send the PDF to you directly, too, if you want.

Is it really blurry for everyone else or is that just me?

I downloaded it with my iPad and put it into ibooks. It stays blurry at first but then it gets crystal clear after a few seconds. maybe its a really big file to process?

Yeah once I put it into PDF Annotator and saved it, it cleared up. Thanks.

Here's a sort of scattered version on Imageshack:

http://imageshack.us/g/337/zhpbimmermagp34.jpg/

You have to click the pictures once then open in a new window- once the picture shows to be massive you know you got the real resolution. Also the font is blurry on the PDF unless you zoom it- it should be quite large honestly.

I added the Roundel article.

thought i might add that the 1st link is where the article has the well known typo; the 0-60 times for the sports pckg and ZHP are reversed. just FYI.

completely off topic but I noticed from reading your sig that you have a tune and a sprint booster. have you noticed any difference by adding the sprint booster on top of a tune? I have been thinking about adding one but didn't know if it would be a redundant mod considering my car is shark injected

I definitely recommend the SB. It's not redundant, as the SB doesn't add horsepower or performance, it only adds the illusion of performance. It basically accelerates the signals in the throttle by wire so the car thinks you're stepping on the gas harder when you're barely touching it, thus the illusion of going faster, sooner. Makes sense? Plus, there are 3 settings: off, on/mild, extreme. You'd swear the car was faster, even though technically it's not.

agreed on everything said here. SB makes a big difference, once you try it you won't want to go back. especially with the settings options.

If you are a BMWCCA member you can view old Roundel issues going back to Jan. 2002. Issues from April 03, Dec 03 and Jan 05 (ZHP vert) have articles on the ZHP. The Jan 03 aritcle was written by Satch after driving the car in the Tuscany region of Italy.......a great read, classic Satch.

I also like going into the old issues and reading Mike Millers Tech Talk. A good way to pick up some knowledge on our cars.

I wonder if there would be any copyright issues with posting a link? Anyone know? If you try to view them on their site without being logged in it will only let you preview the current issue. But I can copy and paste the link and even after logging out I can view everything.:dunno

Not sure if it would even be possible to make a PDF off the the Imirus viewer they use.
