My car needs some attention in the suspension arena big time. Rear end clunks when shifting and drifts when ebrake is engaged. Front end feels like right side linkage is not tight. Shakes a little under braking and when highway cruising.

Should I be doing this? --- http://www.ecstuning.com/BMW-E46-330Ci-M54_3.0L/Search/Suspension_Refresh/ES2219706/

Is this overkill? It's a large amount of money so I want to make sure this would be a good idea or maybe I could go a cheaper route? I will tell you tho, I dont like cutting corners with my car. I am trying to get it back to feeling like it's feeling nice and tight.

And what estimate would you have in cost of entire installation from an indy shop?

You just need the diff bushings to deal with the clunk, some of the other stuff is worth it but I don't think you need to buy the whole kit

I agree with above but the whole kit is good stuff and will really tighten everything up.

Odds are you don't need it all......but I believe that preventative maintenance is key. It would be a great "reset" for your suspension.

And these URO parts are ok? I want to get to 200k miles without issue. I dont autocross or race. Just drive my baby with the occasional spirited back road drive.

Yeah.....URO is fine....but I doubt you can rely on ever getting 200k out if any part.

EDIT: ok...."To....200k"

Thanks Dane. I looked around a bit and this seems like the best option really. It will be worth it in the long run I think.

I guess if it was me, I'd rather get upgraded parts in some areas over the stock stuff. Especially FCABs.
