I've been eyeing these up to specifically get the gas pedal with the side extension for easier heel-toes

Yes, I installed them couple years ago. I purchased with the left extension, shiny anit-slip without the grip inserts. The quality is first rate; they look super nice. I have been very satisfied and can heel and toe in standard athletic shoes in a very sporty fashion.
