What is the difficulty you've been having getting this part, DW? I found that BMW simply does not offer parts for certain things. For example, there are certain parts of seats that you can't buy through them. Is this one of them?

Perhaps. I need the side bolster. Passenger side. Black Alcantara. I see the P/N on realoem... But when I contacted ECS, they can't guarantee what color it is. If I order it... And it's wrong... I'm out the $$$, so I'm just trying to be positive.

Can they at least guarantee the material, alcantara vs leather?

My set is sun faded and look greenish on the rear hence why I am initiating changing from the oem to something custom but not vinyl. lol

Sounds right DW, as I was searching around German sites I often encountered the words alcantara and Anthrazit together. Like BP says, that's the only Alcantara color (anthracit means darkish greyish black).

What do I know anyway, with my cracking vinyl.
