Have been absent awhile, sorry my loss, looks like I missed a lot of good discussions. Govt dropped a RFP on me with a 45 day response time, have been working mega-hour weeks for the last month & a half, delivered a 10K page response today. Have lurked and read a bit when I could or had insomnia but mainly too tied up with work. Also had my 4-legged best friend trying to check out on me, lotsof trips to the vet and almost a supercharger invested in her recovery, but she's recovering now and better than a s/c. Life starting to getting back to normal, will try to contribute more often as soon as i get back from taking a week of vacation with the blood family next week.

Thanks Justin, just ran out of time. The wife pointed out the other day that for weeks I averaged less than 8 hours per day at our house which included sleeping, showering, shaving and a workout when I could squeeze it in. Some nights i'd run home to tuck my daughter into bed then go back to the office util 1-2 in the morning. We're going to win the RFP competition that I worked on, and it's to replace the HMMWV so it should be worth it in the end.

Welcome back man. I hear ya with being busy. I feel like my head is going to explode. We just laid off 250 people then a week later won 2 huge contracts with the Navy and SOCOM. We have a 60 day due date and are seriously short handed. That, wedding planning and I've decided owning a house sucks dirty Huevos, I think my head is going to explode.

Just keep on getting it brother, hopefully we all will be able to enjoy this summer.

Dane, etal,
At least will try to be more active, have started the hunt again for an AW coupe for myself. I moved too slow on the one KG looked at for me a few months ago so now she belongs to another member in the Midwest.

On the pup, Sugar Bear is our 8 year old yellow-white lab, Lyme's disease is some nasty stuff, thanks for the well wishes. They discovered it just before Xmas, renal failure started (and stopped, and restarted), it's been touch and go a few times. Originally they predicted 1-2 weeks, then they extended their prediction to 1-2 months, and she's now lived more than 3 months since the original diagnosis. Kidneys are back to functioning normally again, she's on several meds, still recovering and getting stronger everyday, they stopped predicting and said she might be the rare one tobeat this disease. We never consciously said we'd do anything to save her, it's just kind of happened, I'm afraid to actually add up the vet and pharmacy bills. And the kidney friendly food market is a racket, she despises it, refuses to eat it which makes recovery harder. We decided we weren't going to watch her starve and introduced her favorite food -- McD's cheeseburgers. Sugar eats 4-5 McDoubles a day along with aome of the dog food, the weight is coming back on, as well as more energy and she's back to fetching the morning paper and retrieving her tennis ball. If anyone ever needs to put some weight on, try the McDoubles.
