http://i545.photobucket.com/albums/hh369/Pearldrum10/IMG_1362-3.jpgWhen this thing pulled up at the dealer after a 3 hour drive, my eyes lit up haha. Its freakin gorgeous in person. Overall the car is in amazing condition apart from the worn out black cube trim, and the shift knob. Even the engine bay was flawless. (and I mean flawless, brand new condition) My dad drove it and fell in love. He kept praising the steering and the ride quality. He also was impressed with the power and the engine note even after coming from an Acura NSX. He is very happy. We cant wait to pick it up later this week so its in the driveway.

Make sure you get familiar with the OBC and report your engine temp here (http://www.zhpmafia.com/forums/showthread.php?6575-OBC-19.7.00-Watcha-go).

Just trying to get business :danehappy

Looks like you found a real nice ZHP. The pics look great.

Before you think about replacing any of the black cube trim, get a permanent black Sharpie and just tap it on the scufffed areas. I think you will be impressed with the results.

Enjoy!

it is thanks! other than one tiny ding and the shifter/black cube trim its flawless.

Thanks for the tips. I think thats why he decided to get the 3 year warranty hahaha. But in all honesty, he saw the light. Hes always wanted an e46 3 vert and now he knows exactly why.

Awesome! Low miles, and it looks fully loaded.
Looks like it has Premium package (xenons, automatic headlights, etc), cold weather package, and of course the performance package.

What's the middle button on the drivers side window switch?

What's the middle button on the drivers side window switch?

It lowers all four windows at once, and I believe the one next to the DSC button is to lower only the rears.

I cant wait until we pick it up later this week. My dads gonna love this car. Hes always been an enthusiast who's had nice cars. In the past he's always had a daily driver and the fun weekend car. This time he can only afford one car (economy) so he wanted a car that was a good compromise between a sports car and a luxury car. His "current" ride is an 09 accord in auto. So you can say hes pretty bored of it. But he'll be turning that in early from his lease.

All you need is a new ZHP shift knob and painted front bumper reflectors and yur done!

SO today a week later we finally picked her up from the dealer. Its sitting in our driveway now. We are both extremely impressed with the car. He let me drive it already and hes letting me have it for the night. I gotta say, its the best car ive ever driven. I originally thought my MINI had better steering but after a nice ride in the ZHP I changed my mind. The steering is so damn precise and perfectly weighted. Its a little heavier than my mini but its perfect. The ride is also great. Its so firm yet so smooth and soft. You go over bumps and feel the road tremendously, yet its not even the slightest bit harsh. Even my father who is 64 says it rides better over the bumps than his 09 Accord.

yes, yes, its absolutely impressive.

It's still amazing and equally enjoyable after 2 years as a matter of fact!

oh man. I love this car. I was driving it for the rest of the night until I got some beers and went back to my mini to be safe (not driving drunk, just didnt want to risk even driving buzzed in his zhp the day he got it). But when I went back to drive my mini it was like a terrible night and a beautiful day. That ZHP drives so much better than my mini. I really couldnt believe it. BUT surprisingly enough, the best part of the ZHP (the steering) was only a bit better than my mini. I got back into my mini and the shifting, clutch feel, and ride were crap compared to the zhp, and yet the steering still felt great on the mini. Atleast my mini has great steering. Basically the zhp steering has ZERO play and my mini has a bit of play. But my mini has less turns to rotation so its a bit tighter. overall id say the ZHP has better steering but the mini still ranks very high.

anyway. problems. The drivers side window wont automatically go up but the passenger side will..... whats up with that?

Oh and the battery is pretty much dead. The convertible top woudlnt even go up with the car turned off, not to mention it would constantly start very hard. It is the original battery though.

This is why my mini sits and my ZHP racks up the miles. Well, that and my mini is modded too much.

You need a new battery quick.

Old battery may also be causing limited function on your right window regulator.

Yeah.....bettery life is around 5 years....and these cars are electrically sensitive.

Definitely snag a new battery...

Hope the window problem solves itself, but does the switch feel loose when you pull it up?

nope. Also the button thats supposed to bring all of the windows up at once, brings every window up except the front driver side one. So then I have to do the drivers side window by itself. A week ago when we looked at it at the dealer the window was fine, and the car was starting up fine too....

The window problem seems to be common - mine's done the same thing since new, and the dealer's never been able to fix it.

Just some electrical weirdness, but you'll get used to it.

You're going to want to get the OEM windscreen that fits over the back seat - it works remarkably well. You might want to get the OEM strut brace too (same part as the M3) - it ties the front strut towers together and sharpens the steering a bit more (at least it did in mine).
